NO I am not doing a BON Christmas Party this year...nor last year. Sorry but I hosted the Christmas Party for 7 years and decided it was time for someone else to do it. Every year all I got was grief from too many that DIS-APPROVED of the south location I had it at. They bitched about the date, the weather, the fact that I asked you bring a gift for age 10 thru adult or a bag of canned goods. Yet they can ride all...See More over creation in the summer and drop much more money in the bar than they would have on a gift. The 7th year was the last straw when I was getting personal emails from folks complaining and swearing at me! Another person did step up to the plate last year and did a party but sadly enough very few folks showed up for it so he will not be doing it this year. I live south of the river and I organized the party so I did it where it was convenient for me! People have no clue the work involved in planning a party where 140-160 people gather through out the evening. Plus hotel accomodations for folks, the bar getting the band that I ASKED FOR the party, someone beside me every year to take the gives to Community 360's the next day, etc. .....Just tired of ungrateful people:(
