2020-10-23: Road Thrills Video – Red Rock Canyon

Our local weather forecast was predicting 82 as our high temperature today. I decided to take a casual Harley ride through Red Rock Canyon enjoying the scenery along the Scenic Drive.

Red Rock Canyon has some of the best sights and experiences the Mojave Desert has to offer.!AiN_Vgrs4oKmwllQdNIeNVa3kc9y?e=oH9qrt
2020-10-19: Willow Beach Fishing Expedition:

I have known Michael Harkcom for 48 years and we met in Las Vegas back in 1972. Both our Dads served in the Air Force and were stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. We went to Rancho High School together and became lifelong friends. I am so proud and honored to have Mike as my friend. We are both senior citizens now and still hanging out looking for trouble.
2020-10-9: I decided to take my Autumn Harley ride over to the Valley of Fire State Park. Spring and fall are the preferred seasons for visiting Valley of Fire.

Valley of Fire State Park is located only six miles from Lake Mead and 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas via Interstate 15. Valley of Fire is Nevada's largest and oldest state park and is known for its wind-sculpted red sandstone formations. This is absolutely one of my favorite places to visit.
2020-10-2: I decided to take a casual morning ride on the Hog to Mount Charleston to enjoy some cool mountain breeze, fresh air and some scenic beauty! Ride safe and enjoy your ride!
Goodbye September and Hello October! Please be a good month and bring smiles, happiness and good fortune to my family and friends! Ride safe! :^
2020-9-25: Eldorado Canyon and Nelson’s Landing are about 25 miles from Boulder City by road. Nelson is on the Nevada side of the Colorado River about 16 miles north of Cottonwood Cove, Nevada by water. One of the biggest mining booms in Nevada history occurred in the Eldorado Canyon. Gold and silver were discovered here around 1859.

The town of Nelson still remains today. The town of Nelson is located way up the wash, away from the flood channels. This is a small town that looks like it came right out of the 1950's.
Autumn Greetings! Good-bye summer! Hello autumn! Wishing all my biker friends a safe, wonderful and adventurous autumn season! Ride safe! :^
2020-9-18: This year has been an incredibly hot and dry summer in the Southwest Region. We will set one more record today – 151 days without any measurable rain. I decided to take my last Hog ride this year up to Mount Charleston to see the aspen leaves changing colors.

Mount Charleston is one of our best getaway places in the area!
2020-9-11: Decided to take a casual Harley ride around Lake Mead heading towards the small historic town of Boulder City.

Lake Mead is known for its beautiful scenic drives. The jagged mountain ranges surround the lake, offering somewhat of a startling but beautiful backdrop, especially at sunset.
2020-9-4: Greetings from Las Vegas! I decided to take a ride towards the hills west of Las Vegas to the tiny town of Mountain Springs. The action in this town can be found at the Mountain Springs Saloon; a rustic biker bar with good food and outside dining area.

This is definitely a perfect getaway from another extreme hot day in Las Vegas. The elevation is 5,490 feet which means 20 degrees cooler than town.
Wishing all my biker friends a wonderful Labor Day Weekend! Ride safe and enjoy... :^
Just riding by to wish all my biker friends a wonderful, safe and eventful September! Great time to get out and do some serious riding! Nothing but the roar of your engine and miles of wide-open road ... :^
2020-8-28: Mount Charleston is about 35 miles northwest of Las Vegas and is part of the Spring Mountain Range and ranges from 3,000 to 12,000 feet in elevation. It is Nevada’s eighth-highest mountain peak.

For locals Mount Charleston is one of the best 'getaway' places in the area.
2020-8-7: Decided to take a casual Harley ride up to our local mountains!

Mount Charleston is always one of my favorite riding destinations because the temperature is usually 20 degrees cooler and I enjoy the cool mountain breezes, fresh-air and all-around scenic beauty. This is as close to alpine wilderness as you are going to get in the Las Vegas area!
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who posted birthday greetings on my wall! Thank you for your kind blessing and most of all for your friendship!! Cheers and Laughter!!
Happy birthday _!_ -O :drink: (*)
