Now where are those Oreo's?
Via BADB.....lmao.....
Harley Davidson decided they wouldn't extend my ESP warranty any further - its 10 years old, and to MANYMILES on the motorcycle.... It could have been worse I suppose, but I had to ask, since Milwaukee sent me the notification it was about to expire.
Well okay - it must be Monday again. They got my rear wheel off, sure enough, sitting on top of my transmission, they find a lonely little old roofing nail, just waiting to be my next nut I went on ahead and put a new front tire on it - tire measured at 4mm, and probably wouldn't make it through the season anyway. That completes the rebuild of my 2010 Ultra Classic. When I pick it up this afternoon - I'll extend the warranty again, but I haven't mentioned that part yet....
Yesterday - I slung my leg over the seat, and when my ass hit the pillow, I could tell something was wrong. Sure enough, the back tire was flat. Today, I got the back end off the ground, and sure enough, I found a screw stuck right smack in the middle....that extended service card got one more hit before expiration lol. The bad news is, that rear drive belt has seen its better days, and the warranty won't cover that. Win some, lose some I guess.

Cold weather is upon us, please take a minute to insure our animals are not exposed to the elements.....
Todays News.....Along with the Compensator - The Top End on my Ultra Classic is basically a boat anchor, and the Extended Service Plan is covering the repair. I'm glad I didn't take off on a cross country trip and have this thing crap out on me in middle of nowhere Montana....
Todays good news.....the compensator on my bike has been replaced, and functions properly. The Bad News.....along the way they discovered my Big Dollar - 103" Big Bore Kit is in the process of destroying itself. Pistons, Rings, and Cylinders are shot, from what they can see with the scope. My money says the timing chain, gears, pushrods and adjusters are shot as well. Harley Davidson E.S.P. will cover that too, so I'm told.....that must be my Birthday Present....lmao.
Today I Have Some Good News.....My 2010 bagger with the broken compensator is STILL covered by the Harley Davidson E.S.P. Plan till 2-17-2020. Harley REALLY hates that motorcycle now.....this is the 4th replacement of that compensator, and they now have more money wrapped up in fixing that bike, than I paid for the warranty, even with the tire and wheel warranty included. I guess that explains why the sales people keep trying to drag me out to the show room floor, to sling my leg over a new one....lmao!!!!!
First.....the bad news. I heard the infamous compensator "Clank" today coming out of my primary - This is the 3rd one but who's counting. The Good News.....that 2010 bagger of mine is still covered under the extended warranty!
