Elektra

We are the Band Woman Versus Man, we play Country and Rock and crack male and female jokes! Our Band is from Volusia County Florida. Elektra can mesmerize and send chills down your back with her vocals. As the lead singer she can rock the house with her righteous vocals! She has a sound like Natalie Merchant and can hit notes that will blow your mind. She can go anywhere from Janis Joplin to Pat Benatar to Miranda Lambert and anything inbetween with her outstanding strong vocal in Rock, Country, or Blues. This is an all inclusive band that includes the company around them! The men, Scally on Guitar and The Duke on the drums crack jokes on women and Elektra cracks jokes on the men! We are sometimes seen as a 4 piece when we add in the bass player! He is also required to crack jokes on the women! So it is Elektra Versus all the men in the band, and women . . . she more than welcomes your assistance with responding to the things that come out of the men's mouths! Feel free to join in their antics and feel free to throw them a crack back! Be prepared to laugh, have fun, dance your shoes off, or sit back, and be mesmerized! They will have you waving your arms, lighting your lighters, laughing, cracking jokes with them, dancing your shoes off, drinking and relaxing and just having a lot of fun! Scally fills in the top and bottom on the guitar and his inspiration is "The Who", Zeppelin, Early 70's, The Doors, Queen, and Hendricks to name a few. The Duke plays a very defined drumline that will bring you to the floor and surrounds each song with a heavy bottom beat that will keep you on the floor or have you begging for more! His influences are Animal from Sesame Street and he loves Country music from all eras!!!

We are northerners come south for a long Winter! We have lived here for many years now. We like the warm weather, but miss the Fall. We love the changing of the leaves. We also like a white Christmas.

Clean cut men who are gentleman, but know how to have fun. Must have a great sense of humor and style. Affectionate, thoughtful men. Not inappropriate though. Men who are nothing but themselves and have no hidden sides to them.

Unkempt people with no style, no class. People that eat disgusting amounts of food. Pushy, controlling attitudes will get you no where. People who put on a show and do not show who and how they really are from the get go.

Tennis for fun - why do we have to use the net, there is no one on that court either! We can use the fence as a net. Racquetball for fun. I am a soloist vocally, which is where I got my nickname Thunder, but now my stage name is Elektra, which is very special to me as it was my grandmother's middle name. It is nice just to take a ride sometimes and get away for the day.

I like scuba, good movies, going places for the day. I like doing spur of the moment things. Live music, dancing, hanging out with cool people.I like snow. I like doing things I have not done. My goals are to learn how to: drive a snowmobile, ride a motorcycle, ski - on snow!I also want to hang glide, never done it.

We like many different Genres of music. Irish, Gaelic, Celtic, American Folk, Other languages, Rock, Pop, R&B, Reggae and more. I can sing Evanescence, Pat Benatar, Alannah Myles, Kutlass, Amy Grant, Sandy Patty, Reba McEntire, Janis Joplin, 4 Non-blondes and much more!

Medium - seen all of them. Hell's Kitchen. I do not watch much TV, but a good series once in a while, I enjoy.

The Last Air Bender, Avatar, Sci-Fi movies, Comedies, Action Movies, True stories, Anything with a good storyline that will hold my attention.
