Not so EZ-Out! Had to extract a frozen brake pad guide pin in order to inspect, clean, and lubricate my brakes last week. It was a bit of an ordeal but I got it done.

The heat in Missouri was intense all last week. Everybody wilted.

Kansas City, Missouri. The grain elevators sure make one feel like a dwarf.

2800 mile vacation ride to Missouri. The Gateway Arch was cool and provided a good photo opp.

Parade riding can be stop and go hot.

Started my day with a bit of a scare but fortunately the screw was short and my tread is brand new thick so it didn't puncture the tube.

Although ambient temperature today was about 95* the engine heat made it feel much hotter in the saddle.

Pretty but very slippery, especially when wet. Ride carefully.

Oldie but goodie...Going through some of my albums and came across this emergency exhaust pipe repair I had to make on my BMW R65 while on a road trip in 2009. Coke can and a worm gear clamp. It held for weeks until I bought a new set of pipes.
