Making glacial progress on my trunk mounting project. Finally elongated the slots so that the trunk can slide back further in order to give passengers more space to lean back. Before and after pics.
Tail Trunk Project is progressing. Would have mounted it lower but the side bag lids have to swing open.
This counts as part of my motorcycle show experience since I saw it on the way to the Jacob K. Javits Center. Thought it was a wonderful sculpture.
If you have a saddle like this, do you have to wear argyle socks too?
2020 BMW R9 Nine T/5
Would love to have one of these but it would need to have hard luggage.
2019 NYC Progressive Motorcycle Show
Tis the season!
Winter weight gloves and heated grips to get me through a cold commute. Saw only two other bikes out this morning.
Tunkhannock Viaduct, Nicholson, PA. An engineering marvel in its time. Still a cool structure to visit near Scranton, PA. (Good excuse for a ride.)
Sometimes being out of focus turns out ok...
Sunrise over Brooklyn and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
Would rather be out here than riding my desk this morning.
Thank you BON for restoring the Posting function!
Look at the difference between the new rear brake pad and the worn one with 15,000 miles. I can squeeze more miles out of the worn pad because the wear line is still showing but I know it won't give me 2000 miles over the next 2 weeks. Nice to have meat on the bones!
Sept 2, 2019 Ride to Bear Mountain, NY.
Fitting the trunk...Still a long way to go but definite progress.
Busy weekend. Took advantage of the rain yesterday and kept working on my project...
Still working on my project and doing the best I can with very fundamental tools. Bending with a small bench vise and clamps. Fastening mechanically instead of welding...I need to win a lottery so that I can buy some serious shop equipment...
Sights of the Commute

Consolation prize for having to ride to work so early...
