hi
All great photos thanks for sharing
Thank you BON for restoring the Posting function!
Look at the difference between the new rear brake pad and the worn one with 15,000 miles. I can squeeze more miles out of the worn pad because the wear line is still showing but I know it won't give me 2000 miles over the next 2 weeks. Nice to have meat on the bones!
Sept 2, 2019 Ride to Bear Mountain, NY.
Fitting the trunk...Still a long way to go but definite progress.
Busy weekend. Took advantage of the rain yesterday and kept working on my project...
Still working on my project and doing the best I can with very fundamental tools. Bending with a small bench vise and clamps. Fastening mechanically instead of welding...I need to win a lottery so that I can buy some serious shop equipment...
Sights of the Commute

Consolation prize for having to ride to work so early...
Cantilever Support painted. Progress, step by step.
New York City (Manhattan) seen from Staten Island, NY.
Verrazano Narrows Bridge seen from Staten Island, NY.
Productive Sunday working on my Tail Rack Project. This is the cantilever support for the rack plate. The plate extends 8 inches past the attachment point and was flexing so I needed to give it some support. Prime and paint next.
Took the time this morning to stop and snap the picture.
Much needed long ride this weekend to spend time with the grand kids.
So, I know you like to take long bike tours, similar to the one you made around the Great Lakes that took you to my neck of the woods. It was a memorable trip to say the least. Hope you like these recent pics of the area. It’s still a fav place of mine.
This bike was with me for 35 years. During the 31 years that it ran, it gave me much joy and 230,000 sMiles. Sold and delivered it to someone who hopes to restore it. I was not happy with 450 lbs bouncing on the back of the car when I hit road irregularities. Heart in mouth seeing that in the rear view mirror...Yikes!
Rode in the Annual Celebrate Israel Parade on NYC's 5th Avenue with 75 other bikes yesterday.
