Tail Rack Project for my Tiger. Cantilever support.
Interesting idea for a custom bike traile
Hate wasting potential storage space on my bike so I fabricated brackets in order to mount these waterproof storage tubes that are sold for carrying service manuals on tractors. I keep tie downs for ferry crossings, spare brake pads and a few other sundries in them. They were originally mounted on my 2013 Tiger and I salvaged them for reuse on my 2016 Tiger. Only a slight modification was necessary for fitment. One photo shows the void space before the tubes were added.

So... I guess it IS possible to re-ring your piston without first removing the head
this is why early Harleys (Flatties, Knucks, Pans and Shovels) did not leak oil because of “bad seals or poor workmanship quality”. The primary chain has an oiler circuit coming from the oil pump. It’s adjusted to a drip rate of 2-3 drips every minute or two. Once it hits the rotating chain, it lubricates and gets slung off. It’s done its job. The inner primary cover has a factory drilled hole at the low point for it to drain. These bikes had dry clutches. With later wet clutches, this was no longer required.
