Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Northwest is excited to announce the 1st Annual ( Texas ) Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Motorcycle Ride scheduled for Armed Forces weekend - May 17th & 18th 2014.
This exciting tribute ride event is open to all riders who would like to pay tribute and honor fallen soldiers from the State of Texas.
In this first annual event, Tribute to Fallen Soldiers will be honoring ( 14 ) fallen soldiers and their Gold Star families from the Dallas Metro area. The exclusive ( escorted ) ride procession will meet, line-up and depart from Dallas Harley-Davidson ( 1334 W Centerville Rd - Garland, TX ) beginning at 7:00 am on Saturday May 17th.
HOW IT WORKS;
Each day, ( Saturday & Sunday ) the escorted ride procession will visit the homes of each of our pre-determined / pre-selected Texas fallen soldiers. At each scheduled 'Fallen Soldier Home Visit', the participating riders will present each family with a special 'Plaque of Distinguished Service' in honor of their fallen hero. In addition to the plaque presentation, a special acknowledgment of the fallen soldier will be bestowed to the family and friends of the fallen hero. To conclude each ceremony, all participating riders will have the opportunity to walk in the procession line to greet each family member with a hug, hand shake and words of encouragement. ( Not mandatory )
The Tribute to Fallen Soldiers ride procession will be escorted by law enforcement and military vehicles in addition to experienced 'Road Guards.'
Even though there is no ride fee to participate, we do ask participating riders to make a small donation to allow 'Tribute to Fallen Soldiers' to continue its heart warming mission of creating and implementing these wonderful tribute ride events to honor all of our fallen soldiers.
