Please allow me to introduce myself. I am V~Grind. I earned that name by, you quested it, grinding some flesh off on the pavement when I went down on my bike a few years back (2007). Got pix, go check'em out--
Now, I'm back in the saddle again---slowly. I successfully completed the Riders Edge (MSF) Class and the DMV endorsement test Oct. 16th, 2009. Quite an accomplishment for me considering.
I am very interested in becoming a proficient motorcyclist in every way---riding, mechanics etc....
I love all motorcycles but especially Harley Davidson.

My ancestors are mostly from Northern Europe, Germany & Ireland and probably from other places too. So, needless to say I really like beer! My family still keeps alive some of the old traditions. We celebrate Ostara, Mid Summer, Samhain, Winter Nights and Yule. We drink beer and meed from real bull horns and kick our heels up when we party.

I'm married to a retired Navy Corpsman, a medical instructor for the Marines. Love to go primitive camping and practice our survival skills. Love outdoor cooking and partying with friends and family. We have 4 children (mine, his and ours)and the oldest one has given us 4 grandchildren. Nowadazs we do our own thing. He does his and I do mine. Some day we hope to get another bike so he can learn to ride and we then can ride together. We love and trust each other so it's ok when we go out to do our own thing.

I am a professional pet groomer goin on about 20 years worth. I like working with animals. I've worked at Veterinary Hospitals since 1988 as a technician/receptionist and groomer. I love riding horses and would love to work with wildlife as a re-hab.

I've had many years of college but never earned a degree. John Lennon said it best; Life is what happens when your making plans. So, I have a degree in Life!
I've majored in Fine Arts @ Rogers State College (RSU)and OSU then changed to Wildlife Management, Veterinary Medicine @ TJC (TCC). I quit TJC when my father was diagnosed with lung cancer to stay home with mom to help take care of him and to raise my young son.
That's about when I started my grooming business @ Ator Heights Animal Hospital in Owasso.

About 5 years ago mom died of breast cancer and my brother and I had to sell our family estate. That was a nightmare so to change that around I bought my Harley and started to learn to ride when I had my infamous wreck. As they say....the rest is history....

About Me:
I live by the virtues of my fore-fathers: Honor, Truth, Perseverance, Industriousness, Fidelity, Self Reliance, Hospitality, Courage, Discipline. I'm at the time in my life when I'm not going to take any crap off of anyone any more---can you dig it? I have given way too many second chances, been a "yes" person, let people get away with way too much. Now, I say "hell no", "screw you" and "hold this for me". Now this is not to say I am not kind---I am very kind to those who are kind to me. I am friendly to those who are friendly to me. I am very respectful to those who are respectful to me---you get the picture. It's like this....I gave my first 45 years to other people, now this next 45 years are mine. I will not lie to you. I will not be fake or a put on. I tell it like it is and I cuss alot. I'm not lookin to win a popularity contest. Your either gonna like me or not, I have no control over that. I much rather give people something to talk about cuz they are gonna talk any way, I might as well have a say in it...evil grin.
