There you are minding your own business and you see your ex out with his new girlfriend, what would be your reaction?
Would you ignore them?
Would you quietly leave?
Would you go over to them and engage them in conversation?
Or would you pull your nine and fill em full of lead?

I hadn't seen or spoken with my ex-husband in about 3 years, until this summer, when he came to visit me in the hospital. I had just had my trache surgery, and couldn't talk yet, and he didn't have much to say, so he just stood there looking at me.
He is one of my facebook friends, and friends with my brother -- they work together. I never actually chat with him online, though, I just see the random comments he may make with my brother. Some other woman I never met often comments on my brother's facebook posts, and she recently changed her profile pic to one of herself and my X. I thought, "Good for him. I hope he's happy."

I run into my ex all the time, I walk up and say hi. But only once have I ran into him with his GF, and she couldn't get away from me fast enough. I was like what is her deal? I hear she is somewhat jealous of me, have no idea why. It's not like he and I are friends or hang out together. We have kids in common so we have to interact, but it's pretty much on an aquaintence level and nothing more.

The only one I dont speak to is my ex husband, we only email each other when we have to cuz of the kids. He lives inthe same town and even at the kids games we pretend we dont even know each other lol

I never run into ex boyfriends, guess that's cuz I don't have that many. My first ex husband and I hardly talk, but he is the father of my oldest daughter. But his wife on the other hand, thinks I am her best friend (he left me for her haha)! She calls me all the time and over the years we have become pretty good friends. She has confessed to me, that I was the lucky one who got away! haha

My ex lives in the same town, sometimes when I bump into him, he is cool other times he's an idiot, I guess it just depends on who I'm with, if he thinks he can intimidate them, he'll try, if not he'll leave it alone. I have run into him with a girlfriend and her and I started shooting the shit and joking around...hey life is too short for the bullshit. live life enjoy...if you can't help...don't hurt..

Actually, it was always a good reality check for me to run into them. if I ever started to feeling nostalgic and wistful for the "good old days" (whatever that means)....to see them together and watch him treat her like complete shit in public and realize "OH RIGHT that's why I fled".
I used to run into "them" all the time before I moved out of state since he and I were both pretty involved in ABATE in Oregon. She always tried her best to be sickeningly sweet to me, so my kids started calling her "saccharin Shirley". You know, totally fake sweet? Not only did I move, but our kids are all fully grown college graduates, so our interaction is waaaaaay down from the past.
