"WHAT WE DO DOES NOT DEFINE WHO WE ARE,
WHAT DOES DFINE US IS HOW WELL WE RISE AFTER FALLING"!!!
Here they are Pics from the days of the Bikers 1968-74. Back when I was
A Biker Chick;
This was my life...What a trip it was!!!
I saw these pictures today, Aug 13, 2008, for the first time in 30+years. OMG!!! I’m so glad I found the negatives. As I showed them to my 39yo daughter today we just took a step back. She thought I looked about 12yo in the pics, when I was actually 21 & 22. In the 2 pictures where I am wearing a white top. That was my 21st B-Day weekend and my daughter was 2 mo old. I wouldn’t change a thing. Those were some good times. However: I saw how people “Judged" us before they knew us or just assumed the worst. We Lived It!
You’re luckier these days. You can sleep in hotels, use your cell phone, and pull out you AmEx cards. Eat in restaurants. Not so back in the day.
We were discriminated against always!! Restaurants wouldn’t serve us, we could only sleep in sleeping bags as no one wanted to put us up for a night; even though we had the money to pay our way.
I try never to judge anyone; as I was always judged; for being a BikerBabe, then a single mom for 18 years, trying to raise her two children to respect and never judge people (BTW I did a good job).
I had respect for my X-husband as a biker, he always respected other bikers, and those who the system targeted as “bad”. He respected his bike and all other bikes, and safety was important to him on the road (except when we went of a cliff in Clearlake). As a father; Not So Much.
The rest; you will have to read it in my journal, Going off the cliffs in Clearlake at night and living to tell about it; to The Pinto Lake Massacre(as the news labeled it)LA Biker Parties in Compton; Chase Down's by rival Clubs, (Not HA). Altamont, The FBI probe into Stolen Bikes driven right off the showroom floor in Kentucky & transported across state lines to California!!!
NO. we didn’t steal em!! We just bought one!!!lol

Maya Angelo says it Best:
“A woman should have a past Juicy enough that she looks forward to retelling it in her old age” Boy! is she right, what a past it was.... And, I will be retelling Mine!!
MY PLAYLISTS:
Now there are 2, They will give you an insight to The Chameleon, what she's all about, what she feels.
Each song was chosen carefully, as each one relates to a period of my life; A person or persons that touched my Life; Family, Friends, My Single Days at the Disco-wild. Yes, Love; Loss; Death. Yea! Even the first & second X's. So many songs, and I could write a story that would go with each song...
As U2's song say's it so well, "Still Haven't Found What I'm looking for" NO, I haven't found my soul mate, not yet anyway...
All Summer Long was playing all weekend while we were on the Boat at Rollins Lake In August, & what a fun time it was!!!
"Because You Loved Me" & "In My Daughters Eyes" is dedicated to my beautiful 39yo daughter who saved my life. I am where I am today because of you baby girl. I Love you my beautiful one...
For My Son Dayton; The song that comes to mind for me would be "Hero" by Mariah. As he was there to take care of me when the X decided that "Cancer" was too hard for him... You will forever have my Heart My Son...
There Are Many Songs on here Inspired by My George!!!
One of My favorite song for him is "Take Me There"
"What A Wonderful World" is dedicated to my 8 year old grandson Kaiden He & all the 3rd graders sang this for us on "Grandparents Day". They not only sang it beautifully, but Signed the entire song. "You made Grammies Heart Sing & Cry at the same time... Love you my precious one!!!
"We Will Rock You" is for my little Dyllon. He loved this song, when he was 3yo He would sing along with it all the time... Today at 5 his toothbrush plays the song...
Littlegrammie loves you my special Boy!!
--WELL--
It all started in the Late 60's There were Hells Angels, Gypsy Jokers, Cops, guns, stabbings, stolen bikes, FBI probes, Sonny Barger--Sex Drugs & Rock & Roll. And the naive young girl still married the bad-boy biker in September, 1967..
Most of you were just little kids, if you were even born yet… but those of you like Phantom, his wife or George (my 1st friends on BON)know just what I’m talking about.
Yea!! It was the end of the 60's "Sex Drugs & Rock & Roll" And Free Clinics in San Francisco. LOL
That was a time of serious Protests; Peace, love not War...we didn't like where the "government" was taking us & we made it known, we stood up for what we thought was right. Dam, times haven't changed much, look where the current government has us now!!!
The X started a club right after we were married we flew colors "The Disciples" Most of us were married. Yea, back in the late 60 you were married at 18. About a dozen of us married, we ran with pack of about 20+. The Cops in SJ hated us, hassled us all the time.
They didn't mess with the Jokers, but us, We couldn't get more than 2 miles and they had us pulled over. For anything they could find and if they couldn't find anything they made something up.
They almost took me in once for mouthing off to the bad ass cop, because we weren’t doing anything wrong, we were just trying to ride to Santa Cruz. It Really made you not like cops at all. My son, now 33, told me "Mom if you married a cop I'd probably have to disown you, a firefighter now that is fine". My Son is quite the free spirit, with a gentle soul cops & him Nah! I told him not to worry marriage, probably not for me, I made two real bad choices in that field, don’t think I want to try for three!! And, right now I'm havin too much Fun!!! LOL
I'll tell you one of the good stories.
The rest will be in my Journal: The Good; The Bad; The Chameleon Always Judged.
Biker Story #1
Here is A great Biker Story that happened to us in 1971. And people always thought we were such bad seeds. We were good people, but no one wanted to give us a chance to prove that. This was one of the good runs, where no one got hurt, killed or beaten-up.
We, about 25 of us were on a Tahoe Run for a weekend. Even though my X really didn’t want me to go that time, I went anyway. Got up there on a Friday, on that Sat. afternoon some of the guys, my X included as He was the “President” wanted to ride around the North side of the lake. Half way around on the north side, they saw a car on the side of the road, looked like it had broken down. The guys stopped to help.
It seemed that no one stopped to help this situation for over an hour, cars just passed by, as they saW the man with his head under the hood.
What they didn’t know was that inside the car was Sammy Davis Jr. The guys helped him out and got him back to Harris for his show that night.
Well Sammy wanted everyone in our Gang to be his special guests that night. We were brought in backstage and in the audience were all the paying customers, waiting to see who Sammy’s “special guests” were.
He had announced that the empty seating in the front was for these people who had the decency to stop & help when he needed help that day, and NO they didn’t stop because it was Sammy Davis Jr. they didn’t know who was in the car they just new someone needed help.
As we came out from behind the stage I thought the people were going to fall off their seats.
Dumn Asses were expecting someone/something else.
They were not ready for US… Sammy dedicated his show to the Group and sang “I got to be me” for us. I had the pictures of that night for 20 some years until they were damaged a couple of years ago. After the show we were invited to his place for a party. Although my X told me, yes TOLD me, I couldn’t go. And being still that naive young thing I did what he said. Boy Have Times Changed…
Chapter II
I'm starting to write it now, before I'm to old to tell it!! Oh, hell, I'LL NEVER BE TO OLD...
YES, I was A "Disciple" from SJ-CA. So many memories, some good, some scary and some very sad from that time of my life as well. But I wouldn't Change a thing. It helped make me the Woman I am today...
In 1974 The X got the bikes, I got the kids! I got the better deal by far...
I Grew up with motorcycles as my dad, as-well-as my little brother, were motorcycle racers.
My brother was quite famous in his young age of 18 as a novice racing with the Pro's & kicking their Ass's,back in the 70s.
And as an 8 year old little boy having a large write up in Sports Illistrated for his racing abilities; racing Go-Karts against grown men, and kicking their asses as well. How Awesome is that for a Kid!!!
I’ve recently turned 60, or as I see it; the new 49. Young at heart. Still love the Harleys, love the pipes, not to mention the Hot Men!!!
I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive Breast Cancer & had surgery October 8, 2002. I, as well as my family, went thru 6 month of grueling Chemotherapy, followed by 8 weeks of daily Radiation. I had my daughter, her husband, my son & my first grandson by my side every step of the way. The American Cancer Society was there for them as well as for me, with programs for family members. I lost my mother to Cancer, while I was undergoing Chemotherapy.
The ACS was there for my mom with wonderful Hospice Care. We had every option available to us that we needed.
I am alive today because of the research; the programs; the alternative treatment options, all the tools that The American Cancer Society had to offer me and thousands of women that when they went to their doctor that one day, were told:
“You have Breast Cancer”
We must find a Cure!!!
I Thank You; my grandson’s Kaiden & Dyllon Thank you for reading this. They have their Littlegrammie alive & with them today because of the technology, research, & medicine that the American Cancer Society provides to anyone who is in need.
It took me almost 4 years to get where I am today. And where I am today is Awesome, totally Awesome!!!

I know that all of you bikers out there are always supporting good causes, so please remember to support the ACS however & whenever you can... Thank You...
I'm now (as of 9-08) a 6 year Breast Cancer Survivor, Healthy, Happy & Enjoying Life... Oh, the Pic of the back of my bald head was in 2003 Interesting Artwork I thought.
