About Me:
I just like to have a good time, for me that's riding every chance I get, meeting new people and hanging out with my friends, I have a great circle of friends and we are very close. I thought I would share a song I wrote in Denver on my way back from Sturgis this year, it talks about an accident we were in just outside of Deadwood.
The Journey
It’s four A.M. and I can’t sleep Rain soaked and I can’t think A few days past a week it’s been Since I’ve been on the road I tell myself that I’ll get there Sometimes I just don’t care For some it’s been too much to bear For me it’s just the journey
I found myself on a curb in Denver Trying to make my home I looked back on it all in Denver What doesn’t kill you makes you strong I found some things I’d lost in Denver What makes you strong may be wrong
It started out so good you see All my friends and me We rode north for miles and miles How I loved to see their smiles Deadwood came with time to spare We were glad to be there We never saw this coming He never saw there eyes
I found myself on a curb in Denver Trying to make my home I looked back on it all in Denver What doesn’t kill you makes you strong I found some things I’d lost in Denver What makes you strong may be wrong
Oil slick can you see Is that your blood on me Pale face and an asphalt smile Someone call ahead a mile Screamed your name to see your eyes What you were saying only dies Sun blocked from your twisted face Can someone take you from this place
I found myself on a curb in Denver Trying to make my home I looked back on it all in Denver What doesn’t kill you makes you strong I found some things I’d lost in Denver What makes you strong may be wrong
It’s four A.M. and I can’t sleep Rain soaked and I can’t think A few days past a week it’s been Since I’ve been on the road I tell myself that I’ll get there Sometimes I just don’t care For some it’s been too much to bear For me it’s just the journey
