Been riding for over 30 years.

I'm into Long Rides every chance I get!!!!
I prefer to take the back roads. Always way
more to see than just stuck on
some super highway with exits and higher prices.

This is a great community of riders and
interested riders! I want to reach out
to everyone...men and women...to help
connect with more people who love motorcycling.
We all have that common interest. I take
it another step and call it a "lifestyle."

My love for travel by 2 wheels has taken me
to many places! I understand the benefit
of knowing someone locally at various destinations.
It can make the trip much more memorable
and enjoyable...getting specific information
on scenery and culture that a local only knows
about.

In 2008 I finally have decided to trailer my old 1978 Custom to the Tomahawk Fall Ride. It has been a tough decision, since I have never done it before. The bike is just not set up for long rides anymore. It has no way to carry any gear. I just never get a chance to ride it very far anymore, since I have the Road King for that. So in this respect...I understand why some folks may trailer to a rally. But to load up a nice newer Harley that is well equipped to carry your gear? That still don't make sense to me.

I am a member of the American Legion and proud of our military! I believe that our troops are still overlooked too much. The ultimate sacrifice one can make is to give their life for their country so that others may live. Many don't understand this concept and it grieves me to see, how illiterate many are to understanding the word freedom. History shows us all, if we only look. That fact cannot ever change. The world is not a perfect place...and as much as I wish it were possible, frankly, the human race will never have peace. So for all of you peace freaks out there...shallow minds create weakness, and weakness can and will be taken advantage of! This is a fact of life!
