About Me:
I am a "Heart Mom" to Nicholas, he is one of the reasons I started this group. Nicholas had open heart surgery at 16 months old. There are so many children affected by congenital heart disease. It is the number one birth defect according to the March of Dimes. All of our programs are implemented at Mass General Hospital for Children as well as Children's Hospital Boston. Please help us help them... My heart has never quite ached for another human the way it does for my child. Nicholas is the love of my life, and has taught me so much more than he'll ever realize... I am the person today because of him and that is someone so, so, much better than the person i was before! Being a parent is such an amazing gift, and I am truly blessed he's mine even (if he is broken)!!!
