If you are looking for a brand new home please contact me. Builders do not always have their new home, "must move" inventory on a general website. They do list these homes on their direct website but you would need to look up each individual builder's site and THAT IS MY JOB! LOL!
The benefits are buying new are numerous. The major perks are, if use their mortgage company, they will pay owner's title and you can close in about 2 weeks. Also, builders offer upgrades and incentives such asa free refrigerator or washer/dryer, fully sodded lots, sprinkler systems. granite and crown molding. Each builder runs a "special" that may be a discounted interest rate or totally paid closing costs. It depends on the weekend and the amount of homes they need to sell.

ps Qualifying for a loan is so much more convenient and accomodating with the builder's mortgage company! And... if at all possible, try to look near the Alliance Corridor.
