Introduction:
Good Day One and All!-
Well I am propmpted here to tell you about myself and yet every time I have to do one of these things I feel like I am filling out a job application.
So lets dispense with the usual and get down to the nitty gritty. I am a middle aged man with a young attitude no matter how life tries to make me old. I enjoy my work, which is cutting and styling hair. I own a hair studio here in Illinois and I am the sole operator. I have done this since 1979 and I said I would do it till I found out what I wanted to be when I grew up... Well I am still deciding.
I enjoy all forms of outdoor activities that my body still allows me to do and I am convinced you stay as young as you want to by staying active. So I am as active as possible in the summer months. I ride and I garden , I golf and I go to organized events. Such as Ravinia for concerts downtown for street fairs and out to Motorcycle swap meets and shows.Thoroughly enjoyed the 105th!!! it was awsome and the folks I met from this site were wonderful. I reccomend anyone meet friends from here and ride together, it was a wonderful group to meet and spend the day with.
In the winter months I hope to get down to Florida a few times and visit The grand Old Mam, My Mom. She lives in Ft Myers and shares residence with her boyfriend in Venice. So I hope to get down there and rent a bike a couple of times this winter. Got to look around seriously, I will probably move there in the near future. So looking to make some new friends there as well. I hope to be a snowbird soon.
Planning on several touring type rides this summer to several destinations. Some may happen others may not! Looks like the ride to Door County may happen, still waiting on solid dates as yet. I am on the bike as often as time allows!
Hoping to meet new friends here and maybe.... Who Knows? Anyway, looking to find people who share the love of riding as I do.
