Introduction:
Yes I am a biker. I love to ride every chance I get. I have a 17 yr old son who rode with me and will get his license this yr. I love nascar, the nhra, country music and spending time with my son.

I climb aboard
A turn of the key
A press of the switch
And my stead comes to life
We head out on our journey
I feel the wind in my face
I hear its roar in my ears
It tells me I’m alive
As my journey progresses
I see the green of the trees
The colors of the flowers
Winter is over and nature has awakened
I see a gnarled old oak tree
It tells me stand firm
Be strong
You will survive
As I travel along
I see other travelers
They extend their hand of camaraderie
They remind me I’m not alone
Above me is blue sky
Clouds billow like cotton balls
As a plane streaks overhead it leaves a trail
Like the finger of God is pointing the way
As I continue on I see flags
Flapping in the wind
They remind me why I have the freedom
To go where I want and do what I choose
I think of others
Those that made sacrifices
Some big some small
And some total
I arrive back where I started
But my journey is not over
It has only begun
For I have seen the face of God
