Introduction:
I'm here to connect with like-minded people, and enjoy observing everyone else! I ride to unplug from the distractors, preferring to engage all of my senses on the bike in place of that touchy-feely mental health therapy! I love being on the road, long rides, shooting the scenery and whatever/whoever catches my eye along the way. My speakers resonate with the blues, classic rock and some eclectic stuff - tunes that move my spirit and soul!

Evenings or stops are enjoyed along the way, as much to watch everyone else as to enjoy the occasional cold one. Company is always welcome, and I'm always looking for an excuse to show someone one of the great loops in our part of Heaven!

FRIEND REQUESTS: If we (you & I) DON'T exchange chat /message /email /group comments, etc, please don't ask to be added; I'm not into the numbers game. I dance to my own rhythm (not a pretty sight at times!), ignoring trends and the designer-label identity so many people rely on. We'll mesh well if you embrace the natural wonders around you, experience original thoughts, enjoy heart-felt friendships and have a passion for life.

Turn ons:
Self-acceptance, positive attitude, genuine smile, good heart, arms that hug and a peaceful, loving spirit.
Turn offs:
Posers who believe some material thing is "them," shallow minds, abusive people, and loud mouths!
Activities:
I'm on the move most of the time, riding when I can, hiking, camping, shooting pictures, exploring new places and old haunts.

If you're passing thru my area (NW Wyoming), let me know and I'll try to ride or at least relax on the patio and enjoy a cool drink with you. Riding Yellowstone, Beartooth Pass and the Big Horn mountains are routine rides, yet exhilerating every time.

Interests:
Photography is a passion, as is listening to great music. Concerts & music festivals are awesome, especially when they're shared with someone with similar interests!

When I slow down, taking in antique malls, taking in the sights along the byways, relaxing on an outdoor patio watching people - it's all good!

Favorite Music:
From classic rock to the blues, country to eclectic, I enjoy almost everything except rap and anything with so much bass that I get a headache.
Favorite TV Shows:
I don't watch TV at home, unless staying in a hotel, then it's generally a music channel.

Favorite Movies:
Wild Hogs; Tuesdays With Morrie; Robin Hood - Men in Tights; Cars; It's A Wonderful Life; Lust In The Dust; Chicago; Grumpy (& Grumpier) Old Men, Casa Blanca, An Affair To Remember, Ice Age (I & II) and the list goes on!

Favorite Books:
The Four Agreements, The Mastery of Love - both by Don Miguel Ruiz. Those are the latest in a lifetime of reading & dreaming of far off places and very different cultures or beliefs.

Favorite Quotes:
To share often and much . . . to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; this is to have succeeded. Emerson

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is the present, enjoy it as the gift that it is!" (paraphrasing Joan Rivers)

More to follow later!

About Me:
I'm a Wyoming native, raised on a ranch and grew up with a great appreciation for the outdoors. I returned as soon as I could and will always be home in Wyoming, my Heaven on Earth!

Retired from the Marine Corps several years ago, one of the finest experiences anyone could ever ask for! I travelled further, experienced more and came to appreciate more than I ever dreamed possible.

My three children are grown and out of the house, and I'm proud of all of them! The time has arrived to take in a little more of life on my own terms, although I live in Cody and sell real estate to assist my father as he transitions to retirement from his brokerage.

Life is great and I've always been blessed to fall uphill. I've known times when I wasn't sure I would make it to the next day, times when I couldn't tell you a single dream. Having lived "large," I savor every moment and try to surround myself with positive, enjoyable, fulfilling people and experiences.

If you like what you're read and would like to get to know me better, feel free to drop me a note. Riding season is enjoyed to the fullest, though down time at work permits some time for correspondence. Ride safe!

  2005 Kawasaki NoClass Drifter
Originally a Vulcan Classic 1500, Lucille's enhancements include Nomad pipes and bags, Drifter front fender,a Mustang seat, Drifter driving lights, Ted Struble's vintage air cleaners, plus numerous other mods. She's now awaiting the suicide shifter. Mini apes? Maybe! She's accumulated about 48,000 miles since April 2006 when I found her on Craigslist. A perfect lady, Lucille looks good shined up or a little dirty, is built to ride and quieter than most but holds her own in any setting!
