I believe many of the new Harley Riders spend more time revving their engines than actually driving anywhere; I sometimes wonder why they bother to have wheels on their motorcycles

I DON'T UNDER STAND WHY PEOPLE LOOK AT THE DISTANCE BEFORE EVEN SEEING IF THERES HAPPYNESS THERE FIRST. WE WILL TRAVLE 100'S OF MILES TO RIDE A RIDE AT A PARK,50 OR 60 TO EAT,AROUND THE WORLD TO SEE A SIGHT BUT TO THINK ABOUT THE INCONVINCE OF MILES FOR HAPPNESS FOREVER AFTER - WE CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MOMENT!!! THINK IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT ARE SELVES MOSES...AKA PREACHER
I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the collection outside the store as I walked in. I saw you; pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall. I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant. But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief. I saw you , roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But, you didn't see me, riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window. I saw you, frown at me when I smiled at your children. But, you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless. I saw you, stare at my long hair. But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love. I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather jackets and gloves. But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none. I saw you, look in fright at my tattoos. But, you didn't see me, cry as my children were born and have their name written over and in my heart. I saw you, change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But, you didn't see me, going home to be with my family. I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be. But, you didn't see me, when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane. I saw you, yelling at your kids in the car. But, you didn't see me, pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me. I saw you, reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But, you didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn. I saw you, race down the road in the rain. But, you didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date. I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time. But, you didn't see me, trying to turn right. I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But, you didn't see me, leave the road. I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass. But, you didn't see me. I wasn't there. I saw you, go home to your family. But, you didn't see me. Because, I died that day you cut me off. I was just a biker. A person with friends and a family. But, you didn't see me.
Now the good Lord sat in Heaven With St Peter by his side Said Peter listen up Lord Im going for a ride Will leave my wings here for while By the pearly gates Wont have no need for those today For Im taking this here Harlay Now the good Lord looked at Peter And a smile lit up his face As he fired up that Harlay The Lord said wanna race So up in heavens highways Between the clouds and stars Raced Peter and the good Lord Twice round Saturn then to Mars Returning to the pearly gates Where sat the Devil with his Dogs Say Peter what you doing boy Ive come up to take those Hoggs Surrounded then by Angels Not the type with harps and wings But a group in chains and leather With tattos of everything Now Devil just you listen here You will leave those bikes alone For heavens now our clubhouse And our colours on the thrown But if you want to prospect here We are sure you will do well But meantime Peter interviened You can fuck off down to hell Now the good Lord threw a party The likes of which no one had seen For the Lord was once a biker And Peter must have been So next time you here the thunder That distant rumbling roar look up too the heavens Tell people what you saw Are the stars not headlights Of all the bikers gone before And Heavens the last clubhouse With a welcome at the door
You are a part of the true biker community. You probably understand the meaning of brotherhood and look after those you ride with as family. Ride Hard - Die Free is not just a fancy patch you bought at a bike rally. You probably ride your bike to Bike Week no matter how far it is. Bikers like you are hard to come by. Keep the shiny side up.

About Me: A 1%er’s Soul
Society looks upon them In fear and with disgust. They just can’t understand The leather, dirt and rust
There are a few among us Who look at them in awe, And envy their free lifestyle… Primitive and raw.
They call them 1%er’s, Not 2% or 3, Most people cannot handle To live this wild and free.
Unspoken rules that govern. Treat them with respect. That’s how they treat each other. No one else will give them less.
The patches on their backs Mean a lot to those who know, What each went thru to get it, Their dedication shown.
I know some 1%er’s, But just a very few. My life is very different, But their friendship it is true.
I trust them with my family, My kids, and yes, my wife. Codes of conduct they uphold Or they could lose their life.
They don’t screw with a brother, Or any of his kin. Society’s hypocrites all judge But could learn this rule from them.
You mess with one of their number, And hell with follow close. Revenge, you know the saying, Is a dish that’s best served cold.
I’m not a 1%er, At least not so you’d see, But a streak of it runs thru my veins. My closest friends agree!
One day when my kids are gone I’ll shed this tie of mine. With obligations now fulfilled I’ll leave this shit behind!
I’ll prospect with a club, If I’m not too fucking old, To run the errands and fetch the beers For the youngsters as I’m told.
The 1%er in my soul Will finally take its place. I’ll be the wild ass, grey haired fucker With a smile upon his face.
