Introduction:
Officially established in 2004, and Dedicated to the memory of fallen bikers.
Brothers and sisters who's passion for motorcycling became a way of life.
The "Walkway of Remembrance" (engraved 9" x 12") pavers preserves that passion and life after they have passed.
It is not a cemetary, but has a similar feel.
We like to think it has a better feel to it because it's more about the life they lived and loved, and their spirit that's with us every time we ride.
Located in picturesque Door County at 4758 Mathey Road, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Conceived by several Wisconsin motorcylists, that is now the Northeastern Wisconsin Bikers Association or (NEWBA inc.)
We are a non-proffit organization of bikers who manage, caretake and raise funds to maintain this beautiful sacred ground.
All the work that has been done here and still is, by volunteers.
Our funds are from selling the pavers, donated by individuals, clubs, groups, fundraisers, memorial rides exc... We can always use more help in the fundraising department. As we a small group of local people that can only do so much. 100% of donations goes to the Park, and Park Building Fund.
We are currently raising money to expand and put up a pavilion and courtyard to accomodate large groups and events. It is dedicated to the memory of Jeff Reinhard, one of the co-founders who we lost in 2006.

About Me:
So I'm thinking some of you are wondering who Fingers is...
Well I'm a mother of 3 and grandmother of 3.
I've been riding bikes since I was 11-yrs. old. A friend of my Moms took me for a ride around a country block and I was hooked! Went right to the bone marrow! I pestered my dad so much, I got one for christmas that year.(Honda XL-70) Been riding ever since. Had a few years, hear and there that I didn't ride. (having kids and other things). The longest stretch was 8-yrs. And that will NEVER happen again! Long story!
I'm a straight up person. I don't like arrogance, bullshitters, users, liars, cheaters, blamers, gossips, whiney bitches(women or men), snobs, People who need constant attention or a pat on the back for every LITTLE thing they do. I could go on..........
I try to find the humor in almost everything.
I love living out in the country. Dont' dig the city too much. If I'm traveling I avoid them as much as possible.
I like gardening, nature, hiking, fishing, music, a good cup of coffee, good food, carpentry, masonry, art, arcitecture, building stuff, power tools, boots, leather, fur, tattoos, dark chocolate, Guinness, turtles, amphibians, trucks, my skid-steer, not necessarily in that order. And a bunch of other stuff.
Last but not least I've been involved with the memorial since the spring of 2006. And am currently the Treasurer for NEWBA.
There is a great energy there. A vibration I've never felt anywhere else. I can't describe it, so you'll have to check it out for yourself.
I guess that will do it for now.
