My nickname is Laverne. I ride a 2000 FLSTC. My riding is a lifestyle, not a hobby. My hobby is family history research. I work full-time as a chiropractic assistant. I have been married to a wonderful man for 37 years, have a great son and a beautiul 8 month old granddaughter. Life is good (not perfect) but very good! |

About Me:
I am an optimistic and positive person by nature and give everyone the 'benefit of the doubt' until proven otherwise. I say what I feel I need to say and then let it go and move forward. I do not hold a grudge. I'm slow to anger and straight forward. I've been married 37 years to a great man. In my time of sorrow, he has stepped up and taken charge. He has really helped me get through some difficult times in my life. I have one wonderful son who is 34 and a beautiful daughter-in-law. I am blessed with 3 awesome granddaughters. I love riding my Harley (I rode Route 66 on my Harley from the beginning (Chicago Illinois) to the end (Santa Monica California)), doing family history research (I published a family history book in 1994 and am in the process of updating the manuscript which will be on CD at the end of 2008), and fixing up my home. I have a female cocker spaniel named Chopper who loves me unconditionally and senses when I am sad. My life is good and very satisfying and my DASH is as it should be.
