THE FOLLOWING WAS WRITTEN BY MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER 3 DAYS AFTER MY ACCIDENT. HOWEVER, IT WASN'T A TRUCK THAT HIT MY BIKE FROM BEHIND AS THEY ORIGINALLY THOUGHT, IT WAS A TRUCK THAT MADE AN ILLEGAL TURN IN FRONT OF US AND TOOK TWO OF US OUT. MY DAUGHTER (ALONG WITH MY OTHER CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN) IS STILL BY MY SIDE ALWAYS.... Oct 15 2008 12:17 AM
My mom (Blow Pop) was hit from behind by a truck on a freeway in Dallas while riding her motorcycle. Her entire face is fractured, she has fractured wrists, forearms, leg and is in ICU with a breathing tube. Please pray for her, we can use all the prayers we can get. She's currently at Parkland in Dallas which is a great hospital for traumas and they're taking very good care of her.
I have been up there every day and home with my kids at night. She is currently listed in critical condition and hopefully when I go back tomorrow will be listed in stable condition. She was going back in for a cat scan on her face yesterday but as of last evening at 6:30pm she hadn't gone in yet. The cat scan will help them figure out what they're going to do about her face. She doesn't even look like herself. It's the saddest thing I have ever experienced in my life! I can't even imagine how much pain she was in before the paramedics got there.
Thank you for your prayers, it's by the grace of God already that she is still alive!

I'm originally from Minnesota. I like rallies, road trips, good friends, classic rock, concerts, beaches, dancing, fishing, camping, spending time with my family and taking off my suit and puttin' on my jeans and jumpin' on my bike (my 2-wheel therapist)after a stressful day at the office (I'm in the investment business).
