| Looking for: |
Friends, relationships, riding partners
|
|
Introduction:
Just moved to CT to become a full-time student again at the ripe old age of 36. Looking to make some new friends to ride with locally and show me the roads around here.
|
Turn offs:
i can't stand liars, cheats, and thieves. |
Ideal:
right. like there's some formula for the perfect person. i think not. last time i checked life didn't work that way... | |
|
|
|
Activities:
I think giving up a really good job, moving to another state, becoming a full-time student and working part-time is enough activity for one person for now. Maybe I can learn to play drums in my spare time...
|
Interests:
I'm interested in reading, animals (I'm an Animal Science Major), riding, tv, and sleep. Right now that's about all I can keep up with.
Just to quickly clarify something. I ride my own bike! I am not passenger material. If you are looking for a passenger you have come to the wrong profile. Carry on.
|
Favorite Music:
I like a little bit of everything but at the end of the day I'm definitely still living in the 80's and 90's.
|
Favorite TV Shows:
TrueBlood, SOA, Bones, Fringe, House, American Idol, Dog Whisperer, Animal Cops, I Shouldn't Be Alive
|
Favorite Movies:
I don't watch movies that often. At least it doesn't seem like I do but then my friends say I have an amazing ability to recall obscure movie moments and lines so I guess I'm catching more movies than I think. Still don't go to the theater though - waste of money. I'd rather sprawl on the couch at home and enjoy.
|
Favorite Books:
There aren't enough lines for all the books I've read, plan to read, or re-read. I go through them pretty quick. Favorite childhood book - My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George.
|
Favorite Quotes:
"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds." Albert Einstein
"Methinks my own soul must be a bright invisible green." Henry David Thoreau
"If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a really horrible warning."
"It was funny stuff, sanity. When it was taken away, you didn't know it. You didn't feel it's departure. You really only knew it when it was restored, like some rare wild bird which lived and sang within you not by decree but by choice." Stephen King
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO What a ride!"
Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is! Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where's the Tylenol?

About Me:
I'm sort of wacky. I guess you'd have to be to turn your life upside down the way I have quitting my job, moving to another state, and becoming a full-time student again. Right now my whole world is one giant adventure of massive proportions. Some days I respond really well to it and other days I'm sorta stressed out. I think it will take a while to find my groove. In the meantime I'm just going with the flow and figurin it out.
