Activities: Dont get as much time to do the things i like theses days, kinda tied up looking after my mum at the moment. I am a nurse and i am caring for her after a stroke left her unable to care for herself. I still try to get out and attend the HD rallies and events through out the season, but do find the solitude and isolation in between theses times a little hard. Hence me finding this site a good source of company and friendship, ( even from afar). I have a 22 yr old son who i adore and i am currently saving madly at the moment to buy a bike for next season, dont quite know what i want, but ive got a bit of time to make up my mind.
Interests: I have a wide range of interests, whether it be, tinkering with mechanics,to DIY and home maintenance. Have a love of construction and the use of drills, nail guns, and most 'big boy's toys'. GIVE ME A CHALLENGE AND IM A HAPPY LADY. I like to keep fit and active, although im not into the'gym scene'. Would rather be in the great oudoors. Im at my happiest, surrounded by my friends in a environment to meet new and like minded people. Learning to play the guitar, albeit slowly... anything creative, ill try my hand at just about anything.My philosophy is; "if you dont try, how will you know your crap at it"

The music i listen too is determined by the mood im in or the company im with.I like classic rock. Bonjovi, lynrd Skynrd, Nickel back, Vanhalen, but i also like the waterboys, u2. i have my girly moments and like music to be soft and sensuous, when im feeling soft and sensuous.
Music has been my playmate, my lover, and my crying towel......
Favorite TV Shows: Bores me to tears. its on 24/7 in this house, so i spend my time with my ear phones on and my music. I like a good honest documentary, or a good belly wrentching comedy. If i have to choose my favourite programme , it would have to be 'Top Gear', but dont tend to watch much tv.If you surveyed a hundred typical middle-aged Brits, I bet you'd find that only two of them could tell you their blood types, but every last one of them would know the theme song from 'Eastender's'...say no more..........
Favorite Movies: Not really into horrors, i love life, not too keen on watching people die in horrific circumstances. Anything that makes me laugh, last movie i saw was Wild Hogs...sooo funny i nearly wet my pants...... and i said nearly! The last films that made me cry out loud were " Saving private Ryan" and "The GREEN Mile" .
Favorite Books: i love anything medical, once a nurse always a nurse, i like to keep up to date with new techniques and discoveries. i enjoy surfing the net for funny or interesting sites to brighten up a dull day.
