I am a single guy, IN A RELATIONSHIP, (Not trying to be a "smart ass" or rude but did you catch the IN A RELATIONSHIP part?), I live in Florida with my cat, my Harleys and a sailboat.
(I have a truck too ... someplace!)
There has been some mindless speculation about my past and who I am. I will do this;
My DD-214s showing Primary and secondary MOSs, is available for any ones inspection that has done any home work about Viet-Nam Vets. I can show documentation on violations of the UCMJ and disciplinary action. My discharge is Honorable. Any Vet will know about military documentation and its terminology;
I need to explain nothing else about this subject.
I will explain my position with riding and back it up to any one that wants to see it in person. I am riding my 52nd, 53rd and 54th bike right now, 11 of my previous bikes were metric, I like wheel stands! I got my first Harley when I got back from Viet-Nam, it was an AMF 1976 Super glide ’74.
Right now (9-9-09) my ’05 Super glide Custom has 66247 miles on it,
my ’06 GSXR 1000 was sold with 14789 miles on it,
my ’07 Wide Glide has 17418 miles on it and
my ’08 Ultra Classic has 27530 miles on it.
DO THE MATH … I RIDE !

CORRECTION . . 3 HARLEYS
Am I a 1%er? What’s your definition of 1%er? I CHOOSE to ride a bike over a cage unless there is no way I can do what I need to do on a bike. I ride regardless of the weather. I ride when ever I choose and where ever I choose. I park my bike where ever I choose and defy the rules. I accept no compromise and offer no excuses for who I am. I stand for the Constitution of the United States of America and all the freedom I offered my life to defend. Maybe I am, my record is loooooong and it started early. Am I a poser? What am I posing as? I would like to hear the IDIOTS answer to this one, I get a laugh out of it every time. I'm just me and I have been riding since '68,(41 years). I don't much like cages but I have a truck, I even drive it now and then just to show the neighbors that it isn’t broke down. I need to help a Bro out now and then, get his bike to the shop if we don't want to fix it or just get it off the road. I don't care what you call me as far as that goes, I just haven't seen very many Bikers keeping up with me for as long as I have been riding. I do know many "Bar Hoppers" and "Fair Weather Bikers" and have nothing bad to say about them, some are even good friends. Every one should know his or her place, it's the ones that don't that end up being put back in their place.
NOT KNOWING ONES LIMITATIONS IS A BITCH FOR THE ONES THAT HAVE NO CLUE.

NOW WHO'S AT THE TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN?
I believe life is what you make of it, I like to make it one hell of a ride.
I don't think its my job to govern people or to judge them so my friends are the ones that don't need maintenance.
Personally, I think most trouble makers and name callers are just "Bar Hoppers" or 15/15 (15 grand and 15 minutes)riders that are jealous of real riders and bikers!
Isn't that a "WANNA BE"? or is it a "POSER"?
No offence intended, don't like name calling. Some people, some times, just need a reality check!
I believe that riding a bike is just the same as driving a cage as far as dexterity goes, the difference is that mistakes in a cage are 90%, or better survivable and mistakes on a bike are 90%, or better fatal. Surviving and riding a bike are the same thought, when that respect or attention to life is lost, life is usually lost also. Driving a cage looses the respect of survival. When was the last time you saw a “Head on collision” involving two bikes in the news? I am in charge of my life here on earth, who is in charge of yours?
The second thought is commitment to riding. Hondas go just as far as Harleys, so what is the difference? The commitment to yourself and the freedom of riding is the only truth in riding. I do not know any rider that has ridden a Gold Wing or an Aspencade or a BMW and not ended up on a Harley in time if they truly ride for the soul. Honor and loyalty are the result of years of truth, riding and belief in your self. Any one can buy anything they want to ride, in truth; more people buy Harleys as a status symbol because they are searching for what is missing in their life. Those who buy metric bikes that look like a Harley have fallen for the oldest sales pitch in the world and done nothing for themselves except maybe prove to the world that fools are born every day.
Is this where "POSERS" come from?
There is a level of commitment that is required in owning a Harley, there is a pride factor and there is a sense of self achievement that dose not exist with any other bike. True, any one can buy a Harley; ( 15 Grand in 15n minutes) where dose it sleep? Mine sleeps in the living room when we are home. When I have $10.00 to my name, my first thought is how much 93 is in my bike. Not food, drink, no laundry or anything else even comes to mind. When was the last time you thought of a new car or truck? The only time I have thought of a truck is when the old one finally quit for good. The only time I have ever owned a car is when I had to for work.
Just what is a 1%er?
IF YOU RIDE LONG AND FAR ENOUGH, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND, IF YOU DON’T, YOU HAVEN’T!
Ever see the patch that says “IF I HAVE TO EXPLANE, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND"?
NOW YOU KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM?

HOME SWEET HOME
I treat people straight and expect the same in return. When I say I’m going to do something, I do it. If I call you friend, you are, with all that goes with it until you prove to me that your not.
If I owe you, I will pay you. If you owe me … you will pay me!
I don’t claim to be anything but me and I write the truth about myself.
Did you decide who I am with out the benefit of first hand knowledge? If you did,
then I guess you like to live in the dark.
Want to know who I am? Come ride with me! Go sailing with me!
You'll never know if you don't!

THIS IS MY ANGEL
I may be somewhat shallow in this statement but I have to have a physical attraction to who ever is my significant other. For me it is all about “The turn on in the soul”. I find that I like to refer to the woman in my life as a toy, not as a an insult but fondly relating to her as who I like to play with. I am very touching and physical contact is just my nature.
THERE IS ONLY ONE and SHE IS MY LIFE !!!!!

“THE KISS” ! ………….. This is the important part of close contact to me. I think if it is done right it tells no lies and holds no secrets. This is something that is done with the soul and not an expected reaction but a deliberate touch from the heart.
I’m kind of new to the “Cyber Friends” thing so I’m just experimenting with the entire concept of meeting people and finding friends here on BON. Having a military beginning has its advantages and the brotherhood started there. Viet-Nam Veteran, U.S.M.C. 1973-1976, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, Sniper/Sharp Shooter depends who you ask. Primary MOS 0351, Secondary 0341, Marine Detachment to Air Wing, Starboard Door Gunner in an HU-1 (Huey). We flew escort for evacuating personnel and aircraft suppressing ground fire. I saw some crazy shit go down right up to the end, even did some. I got busted for unauthorized use of ordinance in an aircraft. They caught me throwing 60mm mortar rounds (with out the saftys on them) out the door to help out my 50, it worked but it cost me a few stripes. I’ve seen enough ugly in this world to last several lifetimes and I have learned the meaning of “Living and Dieing”. There is nothing in this world that can match the experience of freefalling and breaking out of the clouds at 100 +, the crack of dawn, seeing the world in brand new light for the first time that day. Imagine just floating up to a new planet and stepping onto it for the first time. HALO jumps with Recon are the shit and getting a second seat ride in an F4 Phantom can't be explained. Just imagine strapping a pare of giant rockets to your ass and, light the fuse on the afterburners. ! ! ! !
Living has meaning, just do it, life is precious.

I am kind of a social person by nature, I enjoy meeting people, going places and doing things. Having fun with new adventures is all about having fun and really living. Not much into Bars, its cool to do the bar thing now and then but to me its kind of like pickling yourself to death.
I like the things that get posted to my "WALL", I do thin it out every so often. The ones that stay are the ones that I like the best and not who sent them so keep it up :)
I am not a “Player”, “Sugar Daddy”, “Mac”, “Run Around”, “Swinger”, “Womanizer” or anything remotely close to it. I have no use for “Drama Queens”, “Stalkers”, STD Recipients, “Idiots” or any one looking to stir up some malicious crap just to have something to amuse them selves with. If you are one of the people from the shallow end of the jean pool, I am sorry your life is so miserable that you can find nothing better to do with it.
GO AWAY . . . . I HAVE NO USE FOR YOU and NO ONE ELSE DOSE EATHER ! ! !
The truth is, living in the past has no future but your past is what makes you who you are, “life is what you make of it.” What are you making of your life and who will you be tomorrow?

THE INVITATION - TAKE MY HAND
SO, if you are not one these people, then I am interested in meeting and riding with you. I think that there are a lot of people in the area that enjoy meeting people, having fun and getting in some good riding. True friends are hard to find and no one ever has enough true friends, good times never last long enough and life is to short to waste one minute not living like you really want to.
I enjoy old school photography so don't be surprised if you see me out there with one of my Pro rigs shootin film. I've been known to update photos for friends now and then just for the fun of it. I like water skiing and wake boarding, Rock Climbing and Rigging buildings for repairs, Flying (Light Sport) and Sky Diving, S.C.U.B.A. diving (Full Cave NSS-CDS, Tech Nitrox, Tech Trimix and D.P.V. Certified. I like to take my sail boat out for as long as I can keep it out at one time. I like to go camping and fishing when I can do the weekend on land. My bikes and my boat have the same problem, When they leave there is no telling when they will return.
I hope my new and old BON friends will enjoy a few adventures and good times with us. I will continue to invite all ya’ll to what ever we get into so don't be afraid to invite us along on your events too. I will understand if any one withdraws their friendship, I am not in this for the ratings, just the real friends.
