Introduction:
I ride a Honda VTX1800 (Cruiser). I am setting it up so I can travel around Australia, I have just purchased the 2007 elite camper/trailer which is a trailer with one of those fold out tents on top (contains a queens size mattress, but there is only one of me) I also brought the annex and walls just in case I want to do a long stop over somewhere. I have already filled the trailer with some camping stuff and of course a couple of jerries of fuel. So I am all set to hit the road, just need a companion. I am also a bit of a bower bird, so anything shiny (chrome) usually ends up on my bike, have a good relationship with the internet and PayPal. I am just waiting for my kids to move out of home, it is a race, it will be me or them as to the first to move out, and then I will be off on my adventures. My kids are are curently 15 and 18 so not long to wait now. On my trip around Australia I have no start date and no finish date,I will just ride and see where I end up. Currently I am in the Army and will do a few more years yet (3) so that way I can leave the Army on either 12 months LSL or 2 years LSL with no debts and no mortage and money still coming in to pay for petrol accommodation and things to see and do. Once I have done Australia, then it will be overseas, I want to do Sturgess. |
