I haven't been without a motorcycle since my first one when I was 12 years old. That was over 35 years ago. (Before that Dad and I had horses) I have 3 motorcycles right now. My sportster (The Tramp) I got new in 1980 and still have it. I've had the Tramp 29 years, more than half of my life. Last summer (2008) I got an Ultra Classic so now I'm ready to do some riding that I couldn't do with the sportster; like a little more than just bar hopping. (Although that's fun sometimes too). I also have a little enduro that I ride in the woods once in a while.
I’m a steady rollin man, that’s just the way I am. You might see me in a hollow way down in Alabam.
Spent most of my life lookin for something just around the bend. Never realized, after all these wasted years, that what I've been lookin for has always been right here.
Interests:
Working and taking care of my children. I have 3 of my own - all from my ex-wife, which I met in Junior High School, one granddaughter, god-father of another little girl and I have a girl, Rosie (click to see), in Brazil that I sponsor through the World Vision child sponsorship program. That makes 6 all together!
Check out these videos of a ride thru West Virginia. They were shot on Rte 33 from Elkins, WV to Harrisonburg, VA. It’s a 100-mile stretch crossing one mountain after another. About 90 of the 100 miles are all snake turns.
I’ve made the trip 7 times this year. I figured this might be the last one for this year and I wanted to get the video shots so I sacrificed the thrill ride of scraping floorboards and slowed down a little to shoot the video.
I had the camera strapped around my neck so I could let it go if need be. In a couple of them you’ll see the camera go down so that I could shift gears.
