We are so honored that you came out to support the Kids and our Community on August the 30th in Mansfield, TX.
With your Help We collected:
995 pounds of Cans of Food to Tarrant Food Bank
722 pounds of Cans of Food to North Texas Food Bank
A whooping total of 1,717 pounds (almost a TON!)
You helped us raised more than 21,248 KIDS MEALS!!

We are already started to plan the next year big event and have some Fun Runs between now and the next last Sunday in August of 2010.

TRHT Mission
“TRHT's mission is to actively build relationships, raise charitable capital, make philanthropic grants and hold food drives that contribute to the health, education and vitality of Texas communities, its children and its citizens.”
We are an adult group of motorcycle riders and enthusiasts with a statewide presence in Texas. As we rode the highways of Texas and talked with people we met, we became very aware of the economic hardships suffered by many. We became aware of the increased requests being made at the Food Banks across our state and the need for good nutrition for children. As a result, we held a one day benefit, in August 2008, to raise money and food for a local food bank. For our first attempt, we were very successful.
We wanted to do more and decided to form a Texas non-profit corporation. Texas Riders Helping Texans, Inc. is now a public charity with an IRS status of 501 (c) (3). All donations of money, food, merchandise, services, etc. are tax deductible. No member of TRHT is compensated for their services. All donations of food are sent to the local area food banks in the event area. All proceeds, after expenses, are specified for Texas children’s food programs. We have also sponsored an event in Lockhart, Texas in 2009.
At this time, we raise funds and food by holding one day events across the State of Texas. New Up-Coming Event, 2009 North Texas event will be held at Fat Daddy’s Sports and Spirits Café in Mansfield, Texas, August 30 from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The area food banks serve twenty-six counties from two central locations. We will solicit many different businesses for donations of money, goods and services. All goods and services will be sold through live auctions or raffles on the day of the event. We will have bands, bike washes and lots of fun activities at this event.
Whether you ride a motorcycle or not, you can make a difference by helping TRHT help the children of Texas with food and nutrition programs through our events. Make a donation of money or merchandise. Attend the event. Meet new people. You can make a difference in someone’s life that is presently less fortunate than you. Help us help others.
