Introduction: "Listen, I'll be honest with ya, I love Jesus but I drink a little!" -Gladys from Austin, Tx.
Aging gracefully. Living a full life. Giving thanks. Loving to the max.
Listening. Paying attention. Eyes wide open.
Watching, growing, learning, dreaming, living.
My first bike as a young child; Honda 90. Loved that bike!
Ridin' has been a passion of mine as long as I can remember.
Living my childhood passions with the grace and wisdom of an adult.
If you're not sure about what you're doing, check God's Word. If it doesn't fit into what's in that book, don't do it.
Been catchin' some flack because I insist on wearing a helmet! Been riding a real long time. Had a couple of nasty spills in my day. I really don't want to be the next organ donor so please, respect my decision that I'm going to wear a helmet. Just as I'll respect your choice. Thanks. :)
If it rolls, flies or floats - count me in!!
I get along with just about everyone. Really enjoy meeting and surrounding myself with folks that are any of the following; positive, happy, funny, passionate, creative, driven, innovative, and most importantly to me - folks that are living their own truths. As seen in some of the photo's below. :)
Music plays 24/7 at the Sugah shack. The door is always open, hearth is warm, kettle is full and fam & friends are welcome day and night.
I'm real bad about leaving myself online when I'm not actually at my desk. In fact, have been known to leave town with myself online! Yeah, I'm real dingy like that.
Run 'round the house for 20 minutes lookin' for my cell when it dawns on me; I'm talkin' on it. Or it beeps and I spend 5 minutes searchin' in my purse to realize it's in my back pocket. ;)
Don't wear a watch. Rarely get in a hurry, yet hyper active, can't be still, fidget way too much.
Text book case of AADD. Labled as "deficit". My soul considers it a gift and a blessing.
Never experienced a bored moment in my life.
Southern to the bone.
We southerner's are different. We're not better, we're not worse. We're just different.
Pretty easy going gal. Simple things for my simple mind; yet creative and curious.
I enjoy being a girl, really dig being a grandmother and I love being all woman. They're all fulltime jobs with no pay but the rewards are tremendous.
5' tall and more to love. Yeah a real woman with real curves. No nippin',tuckin' liposuction to make me happy in my own skin. :)
Very domestic and content at home yet the first one out the door when adventure comes knockin'.

I cherish my friends and we always have each other's backs. No questions asked.
dd951 - my #1 spot. This man and I go way back. He's been ridin' more years than I've been alive. We're dear friends and he's one helluva good man. A true Southern Gentleman. Retired Navy - thank ya for your service - a true Patriot. I love, admire and appreciate our long lasting friendship. To you,dd, my favorite boot toter! If you're in 'Bama, this is the man you want to ride with.
Much perfer an email before a friendship request. :) I'm a busy gal but will gladly make time for true friends and making new friends.
Respect yourself ~ respect others.
Pat "Dirty" Daugherty on Bass,"Jim Dandy" Mangrum vocals, Tommy Aldridge on drums,(Aldridge starting his career with Black Oak Arkansas, then went on to play and record with Pat Travers Band, Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore, Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy. Incredible drummer)Rickie Reynolds guitar,Harvey Jett guitar and Stanley Knight lead guitar. BOA .. a lifetime ago. Funny, in an odd sort of way, that someone so special to me from my far away past - some 30+ years later, his son meets my daughter and together they create for us a grandchild. To you, Dirty! And to our children and the children they create together! Much respect. xo True Southern Rock at it's finest.
*** "Memphis 'Til Monday". I'm truly blessed with the most wonderful friendships. We will grow older, but we'll never grow old. To you, Bobby and to the special friendship and mutual inspiration we've shared over many years. Thank you. xo
"I don't know if these stories are true but they happened to me." :)
Turn ons:
Character, genuine smiles, laughter, strong willed - confident men, leaders, the doers of the world. Mutual values which nurture the soul. Opening my car door. :)
Turn offs:
I like to turn off - on winding curves or dirt roads. :) Sometimes it's good to 'turn off' everything and just.... breathe.
Ideal:
Ideally one that shares the same basic fundamental belief's. One that allows open communication without fear of judgment and knowing it's okay to agree to disagree. One who doesn't FREAK over 4:20!
Favorite Music:
Depends on my mood or the mood I want to be in. :)
Great pickin', riffs, harmonies, slidin', funky beats, great grooves, story tellers. Any that allows me a glimpse inside the artists soul and reaches in and touches mine.
Favorite TV Shows: When I can sit still long enough; Boston Legal makes me laugh. The cast is brilliant, great writing, but then the liberal rants force me to change the channel. Pity.
Desperate Housewive's - It's a Sunday night 'gal pal tradition' thing.
Discovery Channel - how cool would it be to earn your keep by blowing up stuff?
The Speed Channel - they show all the kick ass bike races! And awesome car shows. Love it!
Nickelodeon - When it was good, it was real good. I love cartoons. SpongeBob SquarePants is brilliant.
The Andy Griffith Show - Handle things with good 'ol fashioned common sense, and use force only when necessary.
Beverly Hillbillies, I Love Lucy, Little House on the Prairie. Yeah they're all still being aired. :)
Favorite Movies: Movies that make me feel good and/or laugh. All Mel Brooks films. Tracy and Hepburn,Cary Grant Doris Day. Comedy, Romance. Tim Burton-fantastic director of our time. Love all his movies and every movie I've ever seen with Johnny Depp.
Favorite Books: Memoirs of a Geisha, A River Runs Through It, Where the Heart Is, Little Women. Bio's of great leaders. For laughs - any by Lewis Grizzard or Celia Rivenbark. I can relate to and totally dig good southern humor.

About Me: Smooth blend of a 70's generation with an old fashioned soul.
In my heart of hearts, I truly believe no matter where our bodies may be, no matter our race or religion, I believe that most people want the same things; freedom, peace, love and a safe haven for all the children to flourish. Sadly, we have to fight damn hard to help keep that a reality. Use your voice, vote, volunteer, gave thanks, and always lend a helping hand to those in need.
For those of you that actually read all of my page, I say, thank ya kindly. :)
