Painted this past weekend. I know what to not do and what to do now. I think I can do this better next time. The paint job came out really good for the first time ever. I am re doing the last tank. I messed it up. I think I will have it done by the weekend. it should be done. I will be on the road by Saturday. I am so psyched. I really dont even care if it looks good. I am kind of proud of the outcome.

So I have been working my ass off on this thing to make it respectable looking. I am not really that concerned but hey I love it. New parts. New brakes, master cylinder, grips, clutch, transmission, pipes, seats, bags, oil bag, tail light and tire for the front. I currently am in the middle of a new paint job that I am teaching myself to do. I have my paints and the fenders and tanks have been stripped and primed. I am waiting for a warm day to paint. I think I am going to get a tent type of thing to heat so I can paint inside. Wish me luck. Try to guess the color. Its great.

Okay. Update for January 2008. Last year was so full of rides. I don,t think I even spent much money on other stuff. I got lots of parts and a new transmission. Wow was it ever a wonder that it lasted until the end of the season and broke in my yard. I was on the way out of the yard and it broke. What tremendous luck. She didn't strand me. She is my special girl.
