My scene: Family, Spirit, Nature, Art, Ancestors, America & our White Folk ... 14 Words & the Nine Noble Virtues. Everyday life...everyday.
I am a healthy White ( widowed young) mother, artist, horsewoman & solar-cooking homesteader ... but am primarily just the devoted and proud mom of a stand-up 24 yr old son. I've had this old passive-solar home in the White Mountains of Arizona since the mid-90s --- and we were 8 yr residents of Great Britain not so long ago. It's the artist's life...... lol
Power, speed and excitement? I've ridden on the backs of performance horses -- and Harleys, Indians and Triumphs --- since young childhood. Countless hours spent watching German-American mechanics and blacksmiths work in 1950s - 80s Southern Indiana.... and still find blacksmiths and wrenchers sexy and magical. ;) xox Hard to explain.... maybe it's a Midwestern hayseed thing. ;)
My close-to-the-land solar lifestyle is spiced up with loyal & loving biker friends, rallies, MMA runs, meets and road trips. Love and respect are the secret passwords to happiness... but good dogs, gorgeous horses, chickens, gardens and everyday challenges keep it very real. xox

Activities:
Working freelance for 40 years as a well-published illustrator, fine artist and writer.
Currently, I help/teach via a rural Sustainable Living Center in Taylor, Arizona -- promoting solar cooking, solar & wind power, composting, gardening, recycling, home emergency medical care, post-meltdown survival skills and low-tech simplicity. My own little handmade home was the first passive-solar bermed house in the area.The Good Life for real. lol

Had the TV dish taken out three years ago because I was becoming a chronic news junkie! lol I miss Discovery channel, Natl Geographic, A&E, BBCAmerica, Dog Whisperer, CSI etc....any ghost hunter, forensics, paranormal shows.... and that silly Squidbillies ! lolol
