MY favorite photographs
are ones that express a moment caught in time, or ones that capture someone's true personality in a single frame. Human beings change expressions from moment to moment. I love it when they forget that I am nearby and one of those special moments in time is caught on camera forever. Of course, in Portrait photography, people don't usually forget that I am there, but I can still capture the essence of their personality and make moments that become good memories as well as good portraits. I always work in a location that helps the people being photographed feel comfortable. We have fun together, laugh, and end the session feeling that we have just spent some time with good friends. I find that the more relaxed someone is, the more likely that I will be able to capture the special twinkle in someone's eye that makes them the truly unique person that they are.As a motorcycle enthusiast, my other favorite thing to photograph is a motorcycle. Capturing a custom Harley, chopper, cruiser, vintage, or speed bike on camera and showing off the art and craftsmanship that makes up a truly beautiful bike is a special passion of mine. The relationship between a bike and its rider can be a challenge to photograph, but some of my favorite shots are portraits that truly show that relationship and the special personality of a rider. I started photographing friends and just things that caught my interest when I was 10 years old at the Columbia Park Boys Club in San Francisco. It was a wonderful hobby for many years; however, I finally decided that it was time to take it seriously. I found a mentor in Vincent Isola and have worked as an assistant and then a photographer for him at Genesis Photography since 1997. In January of 2005, I went out on my own as photographer and started doing another type of photography that I really love - Photo Journalism. This type of photography lends itself most naturally to photographing events.I build this web site to share my photographs with you for your enjoyment and information. If you are looking for someone to capture those special moments that make up a truly memorable event or if you want a portrait done that really reflects who you are please contact us.
Whether photographing an event or a portrait session, I will give you a wide variety of images to choose from. These images can then be viewed on-line from the comfort of your home or office. You, or anyone that you choose, can then purchase any, or all, of the images in whatever size or quantity suits your needs. We are located in the City of Martinez, 33 miles northeast of San Francisco, California.

Thank you from Henry Aparicio
