I rode Honda's for 30 years before I decided to retire without being killed!! Ten years later I watch and listen as they go by and the urge is back once more. Got my first Harley, and with a little change in the exhaust sound, now I know what I was missing all those years!!
We went for a little group ride this weekend,I was riding behind Janice. When we got back to the club, she said she had never heard anyone who was riding behind her.......I guess my pipes sound "just right".
I am a member of The Fraternal Order Of Eagles in Clovis and we finally got approved to start our Eagle Riders Club. We will be the first club in New Mexico and we are looking for local riders to join the Aerie and the Club. Anyone who might be interested just let me know...
The mission of the Eagle Riders is to have fun in a family oriented organization dedicated to the enjoyment of motorcycles, safe riding, while promoting the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Eagle Riders is a group of Fraternal Order of Eagles member motorcyclists who promote the Eagles and its causes, while doing something that they love - riding motorcycles.
The group is highly involved in aerie and auxiliary functions, poker runs, fundraisers, and local, state and international charity programs supported by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Eagle Riders offer members another way to get involved and be more active in their aerie or auxiliary. Eagle Riders has succeeded at attracting younger members to the organization as well, proving to be the fastest growing "club within a club" in the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Trying now to start a BACA chapter in my town and I'm surprised at the responce that I'm getting...."That seems like a lot of work".....the outcome is worth the work...

2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883
The only thing I had to change so far is the mufflers, it was way too quiet. I had Bud at A&G Muffler make some tips for me and now you can tell it's a Harley from half a mile!!
This month, I put on the mini apes(hd#56079-93) and they can be put on without changing anything. The highway bar was made by Joe Amaro and fits right on the brace on the frame!! |
