Senator/President Elect Obama...Please don't forget about my son in Iraq. I miss him and worry about him coming home safe. While you are decorating your daughters new bedrooms in the White House, my son is sleeping in the desert tonight. The economy is not the only issue at hand. I am America...I am a blue collar, Blue Star Mom! I would rather be broke, homeless and hungry if it meant all our soldiers get what they need, what they deserve. You wouldn't even be in office is it wasn't for the service of these brave men and women fighting for the rights of every American. Remember, some of us want to feel safe more than we want to feel financially secure. GOD BLESS THE TROOPS!

I moved from San Diego to Manhattan Beach (the South Bay) temporarily in Dec. 2007. Not sure where I would like to end up yet. I will see where life takes me!
