We are men and women bikers who have a great love for riding and socializing together, which means we are not traditional . We are deeply committed to our family, our brothers and sisters, and riding. Loyalty and Brotherhood/Sisterhood are keywords for us.
What we are about!
1. Preserving the rights and lifestyles of bikers. We do this through legislation, education, and personal example.
2. Preserving a time-old tradition of Honor and Respect among bikers.
3. Finding and developing 'new blood' to carry on and share our beliefs.
4. Re-discovering the sheer pleasure and adventure of being a Biker.
5. Respecting and supporting all bikers, and all clubs, despite our many and varied methods of pursuing the title 'Biker'.
6.We are about riding. And, as cliché as it sounds, if we have to explain it, you wouldn't understand.
What we are not!
1. We are NOT a traditional (1%er or outlaw) club, but we respect our brothers who choose this path because it is right for them.
2. We are not critical of any biker, or any biker's ride.
3. We are not 'weekend warriors' or 'fair weather riders. We ride because we love to ride – neither weather, nor day of the week, determines when and how we ride.we are not a club,we are not an organization.we are solely here to ride,without all the politics.
Diversity Statement
The MAYHEM RIDERS is founded on a number of principles important to us. Diversity is one of these principles and it is one of our chief principles. We live in a world where diversity has become a popular phrase, used and invoked by many. Often it is used by those who do not understand the full scope of the word or its broader implications or who intentionally limit its application. The MAYHEM RIDERS does not view diversity as a "pick and choose" concept. We are open to all diverse groups and we use the broadest possible definition of diversity when we speak of our value of being diverse. Given this understanding, the MAYHEM RIDERS is first and foremost open to riders of all types and brands of motorcycles. We are open to male and female prospective members, prospective members of all races, ethnic groups, sexual preference, ages, lifestyles and life experience. For some organizations, being open to women member's simply means allowing women to exist as second class citizens, decoration or to be treated as fragile "china dolls" within the organization. None of that is acceptable to us. The MAYHEM RIDERS is committed to treating female members with the same respect and dignity as male members. We understand that there are obvious and subtle differences between men and women in some specific areas. We do not strive to be completely "gender blind." Rather, our goal is to provide a model within the motorcycling and "biking" community of equality, respect and honor with regard to how men and women may coexist. And we further expand this goal to our openness to all the diverse groups we welcome to join because we understand deeply that none of us is free until all of us are free and we know we all can learn to get along.
