Introduction: My name is Heather and I'm a divorced 34 year old single mother of two great kids (ages 15 and 6) and I live in Greenwood, Indiana :) I guess most people would describe me as fun, outgoing, spunky, risky, honest, crazy, trusting, caring, and true to my friends :) I enjoy being with my family and friends and traveling as much as possible.
I work Sales/Marketing for a fire/water/storm damage contractor here in Indianapolis and I really enjoy my job. I've been in the construction industry for over 15 years and that has shaped me into a very head strong woman!
I have little time for BULLSHIT. :) So, if you wanna know something about ME... then ask ME. Not someone else. I'll tell it how it is....
Turn ons:
Tattoos, great smiles, lots of attention, text messages, polite men, safe drivers, and good bodies
Turn offs:
Laziness, liars, people who manipulate, JEALOUS pig headed men, eating with your mouth open, bad hygiene, and spitefulness.
Ideal:
Bad boy, but can clean up and has tattoos, good job, great smile who can make me laugh laugh laugh!!! I just want to find someone who can make me feel like I'm the most important person in their life and make it known to everyone!
Activities: Spending time with my kids, friends and family. I enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and hiking. I love traveling and of course... riding! I'm very blessed with parents who are heavily involved in my childrens lives. They attend all my kids sporting events and love to spend time with them. It helps me out, becaue that means every Saturday night, I usually have free! With their dad living in Arizona, I don't get the usual breaks during the week or entire weekends every other week, but I really enjoy my saturday nights! The old saying that it takes a tribe to raise a child... is so true. The wonderful relationship my parents share with my children is unsurpassed and I would not trade it for the world!
Interests: Traveling, history and learning all I can about anything that interest me. I love Ghost Towns and history and being out west. My ultimate goal is to relocate to the western states. Arizona is my preferred location at this time... obviously it's warmer, but also because it's BEAUTIFUL there :)
Favorite Music:
Mostly country and alternative. But, I love classic rock too. Anything pretty much except Rap.
Favorite TV Shows: House MD, American Idol, Nancy Grace, Cold Case Files, Forensic Files and old re-runs of Little House on the Prairie
Favorite Movies: Legends of the Fall, The Outsiders, River Runs Thru It, Horse Whisperer, (anything filmed in Montana) and I love love love horror movies.
Favorite Books: Anything true crime
Favorite Quotes: "Sometimes, being a bitch, is all a woman has to hold onto."
"Love means giving someone your whole heart... and trusting them not to break it."
"I'd rather have 15 minutes of something beautiful... than a lifetime of nothing special."
"If he's stupid enough to walk away... be smart enough to let him!"
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I'm outta control and a little hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as fuck don't deserve me at my BEST."
About Me: I'm strong, independent, honest, fun, spunky and I'm ready to start my life again!
I don't need negative people in my life.... if you are not a positive person, then get the hell outta my way!
I am a very dedicated friend... even if a friendship has soured, those deepest secrets that have been promised to not be shared. I would never stoop so low as to tell a soul. Life is about getting back what you put out...and I am a true person who recognizes this.
If someone has crossed me, I don't spend my energy trying to find immature ways to get "revenge"... what I do is cut that person out of my life and move on to better things that can brighten my day. I'm not one to hold a grudge. I just want to be happy. And sometimes, you realize that people in your life, shouldn't be there... it's not always easy to let them go, but when you do, you realize it was the right thing for you both. Recognizing that...and understanding it...is the first step to growing from it.
I also have been involved in some great charity rides this year and I'm helping with some marketing/fundraising for some upcoming rides this spring... if you are interesting in sponsoring any of these events, just send me an e-mail :) They are always for a great cause!
