Hello from the Heart of Texas. I ride almost daily. Retired and do custom leather work. Looking for friends to ride with. I like the back roads and the ones least traveled. Luckenbach, Leakey, The River Road from Study Butte to Presido, Llano river swimming holes, 550 in Colorado, Big Bend, Yellowstone, Glacier NP, Sturgis and the list goes on. Also like to make a few rallies each year. I am not on here to get a lots of numbers so friends need to like ride, hang in there in the worst conditions and have something in common. The only time I trailer is if I am broke down...........

OLD BIKERS
The old ones stand out, now their numbers are dwindling down.
They're a sad loss to the American scene, these individualists with the worn down clothes and faces.
You can still see them sometimes, the real ones, some in packs, not as large as a while ago, sometimes alone.
The alone one is the best. One who's been there a long time, staying with the life he loves, never giving in to a system that sucks you up like a vortex if you slip just one foot into it.
He's got his connections, a few like him, that care for and protect each other.
Hanging onto the only unique lifestyle left, like old dinosaurs.
Their faces are leathered and rough by forty, but their eyes are still sharp and knowing.
Some are gray and have white in their beards and braids, some have limps in their steps and some pain in their kidneys.
They know no other life, their lives merely a dreary journey into everyone else's monotony.
He looks at the new ones, then turns away, knowing they will never know of life on the road, and of the women who can take it.
Wild, loving women who will hang in with them because they love it too.
A woman with a wild heart and a loyal soul, that's what's needed here.
The new ones are shiny and young and a bit too clean.
They're born into a system that has an iron grip now.
The new ones will never know and couldn't take "the life."
I think it's a mystique, even to the old ones, why this life is theirs, but it is, and it's the only one they know.
When the last biker falls, like the dinosaurs, the sun will go down on a breed of heart-of-gold, tough as nails, free-spirited men, who, even at their worst, love what's theirs and protect it.

Mostly MC riding in the summer and deer hunting- sausage making in the winter. With a little time reserved for Gal chasing.

Buying and selling knives and leather products on Ebay. I make and sell knife sheaths and motorcycle chaps.

Most any type except rap.(Well maybe Kid Rock)

Favorite TV Shows:
Not real big on TV. Mostly a waste of time with the exception of History Channel and Discovery.

Dances With Wolves and Robert Duval movies.

About Me:
About me... that is hard for even me to understand sometime. I worked for a large company for 30 years and retired the first day I could. After retirement opened up a BBQ catering business but damn that was more work than working. Tried truck driving but just never got into that. Bought me some leather working tools on Ebay and now I make and sell knife sheaths and chaps.
Over the years I have flown airplanes, sailed boats, scuba dived,and tried snow sking but that was dangerous to everyone else(never could could get that stopping down). I have owned 6 motorcycles and ridden over 250,000 miles in the span of 25 years. So my friends lets enjoy life to the fullest because our time on this earth could end at any time....
