MY PROGRAM Project Save Our Children Against Drunk Driving Our Mission Statement
Our mission at Project Save Our Children Against Drunk Driving Inc. is to give children the "experience" of drinking and driving without the fatal consequences of a Drunk Driving accident. We provide an educational program that addresses the issues of driving while intoxicated and driving under the influence of drugs.
Our mission has expanded to encourage every county throughout the United States to establish a Project Save Our Children Against Drunk Driving chapter in their local schools and counties.
Teens that participate in this program have a simulated, real life, hands-on experience of what it feels like to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This is done in a controlled environment with interactive software and specially designed equipment. Adults are on hand to supervise and explain the simulated experiences as the teens interact with the programs equipment.
My motivation is my daughter Constance Lynn Fox and her fiancé Shane Barkman and Adam Grinillo, who died because of a Drunk Driver. The driver was driving the wrong way on interstate 215 in Perris, California she was on her way to work as a nurse “she died”.
The date was September 10 2000, On that day all four family's lives were changed forever.
Our founding chapter is located in Berryville, Arkansas. We are a 501-C-3 charitable foundation. With our non profit stasis any donations to our organization are tax deductible.
Our goal is to provide a simulated preventive school based alcohol awareness program,
That gives drinking and driving education to our youth. Giving children the
hands on education of a real life drinking and driving scenarios.
