You are a part of the true biker community. You probably understand the meaning of brotherhood and look after those you ride with as family. Ride Hard - Die Free is not just a fancy patch you bought at a bike rally. You probably ride your bike to Bike Week no matter how far it is. Bikers like you are hard to come by. Keep the shiny side up.
Williams 2009 What a BLAST! Not a huge turn out as in previous years but the fun and the friends I came away with from this past weekend (June 19th - 21st) will NEVER be forgotten!
Starts out with Cuckoolulu from BON! She picks me out of the crowd as I am taking pics of bikes up and down Rte 66! We hit it off immediately and go eat!
Later we meet up at Sultana's Bar (My fav bar in my fav town at my fav rally - does it get any better than that?? - well it does...read on!)
Earlier in the day Cuckoolulu met up with some guys from a MC out of Holbrook, AZ called the Winners Circle as she was looking for anyone, someone, ME from BON.
It just so happened that the WC MC were at Sultana's also and we were all instant friends!
I'm telling you these guys and gals from Holbrook are awesome! They took us both in, treated us liked family, fed us, rode with us, befriended us.
I had so much fun with each and every one of them that I never wanted it to end and I hated to see everyone depart on Sunday! There was no point in me staying another day - so I took off too!
Cuckoolulu made it home OK with her clutch/tranny problem....Holbrook gang made it home...and I made it home with good memories that will last a lifetime!
I hope we can all do it again next year!
Until then, I might just take you guys up on a visit to Holbrook and/or the Fire and Ice Rally (Grants, NM) in July!
Thanks, love and hugs to Cuckoolulu, David, John & Diana, Norman & Linda, Rob, Joe & Christina and Richard...hope I got everyone!
Make sure to check out the Williams 2009 pics in my album!
