About Me:
I am a fulltime professional firefighter for the City of Gloucester. I also own a video production company out of Beverly, MA. I have worked for several TV stations over the years and also flew in the WBZ-TV copter running the camera for traffic and news. Most famous thing I've covered was the JFK, Jr. plane crash down the Cape. I flew in the copter for several days until they restricted the airspace. 9/11 killed that job.... I also flew in the Goodyear Blimp for coverage of the 1983 America's Cup in Newport, RI. At the time, I was working for WJAR-TV 10 in Providence (NBC).

I've been riding bikes forever - my grandmother bought me a Honda CB 160 before I had my car license (much to the chagrin of my mother). I am a big animal person, have had many cats and dogs over the years, I have three cats, Missy, Max and Smokey. I play keyboards, now just for fun, but I've been in a bunch of bands since I was a kid. I also play the accordion and can hack away a little on the bass geetar. Got my pilots license about 34 years ago, and while I never made it a career, I've flown Cessnas, Pipers, Beechcrafts, seaplanes, gliders and helicopters - all for fun.

I try to ride as much as possible for as long as I can each year and usually end up averaging 15-18,000 miles a year. Burns up the tires, but I love to ride - and ride long ! The '98 FLH now has over 80,000 miles on it; it had 24k when I got it 3 years ago. I rebuilt the engine last year with new pistons/jugs, Screamin' Eagle performance heads and a Race Tuner. Runs like a clock now. We have weekly rides for the local riders that usually end up in NH and ME after breakfast somewhere. I'm looking to retire to Hawai'i when I'm done with the FD - those sunny, 82* days year round are just too much to ignore. New bike, new house and plenty of sunscreen are just what the doc ordered !
