THE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICTS WALL MEMORIAL/ILLINOIS FREEDOM RUN 2010~
Every year on the 3rd Saturday of June the MOTORCYCLE COMMUNITY unites in small town Illinois for a ride to Marseilles, Illinois where a Memorial Ceremony is held at The MIDDLE EAST CONFLICTS WALL MEMORIAL in honor of our fallen heroes that have died fighting to preserve our FREEDOMS. The money raised is used to update and maintain The Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial, The Fallen Heroes Children Education fund, and Veteran programs.

G thats a beautiful story but with a bittersweet ending. Sadly there are 6,428 others who, along with your friend Mark, werent able to come home. I'll be there with you, not because I personally know anyone whos name is on The Wall, but for those who don't have anyone coming to say Hello or Goodbye to them.
MY FRIEND MARK TOOK A LAST DEPLOYMENT TO IRAQ IN 2006 AND WAS KILLED JULY, 2007. MARK TOLD ME HE WANTED TO MARRY ME..I LAUGHED AS I USUALLY DID WITH HIM AND GAVE HIM A BIG KISS AND SENT HIM ON HIS WAY. MARK WAS ALWAYS MAKING ME LAUGH...ALWAYS JOKING AROUND WITH ME. I WAS STILL GETTING OVER MY LAST RELATIONSHIP. I ALSO KNEW HE HAD MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO THINK ABOUT LIKE HIS LEAVING AGAIN FOR IRAQ. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN AS HE SUBSEQUENTLY WROTE TO ME...HE WASN'T JOKING AROUND. HE IS MISSED AND HONORED FOR MANY REASONS THAT MADE HIM A WONDERFUL MAN........LIKE SO MANY MEN AND WOMAN WHO HAVE HONORED US AND OUR COUNTRY. SAYING HELLO TO HIM AT THE WALL WOULD BE A LONG OVERDUE GOODBYE.
I do many rides and charity events here for our troops and appreciate everything that they do. I will try to be there if I am not having an event myself. Thanks for the invite.
What a cool ride wish i was out that way , i do everything i can to support the troops , i ride with the Warrior Watch Riders S.E. Penna chapter we do motorcycle escorts and welcome homes for returning service Men and Women. Try and treat them like Rock Stars never again should a returning soldier be scorned or ignored
Thanks for the invite, keep me posted please. I'ld like to do this if I'm able to, great cause, they so deserve our help and support here at home. God bless you for all you do...
