All our usual Toy Run friends are opting out this year. Sure would be nice to meet some new friends. Larry and I will be there on our Honda VTX1800. Give me a shout if you wanna grab breakfast before or lunch after.

We may NOT be able to all park together, as the bikes coming into the fairgrounds are directed to parking areas by the police and local MC posse. If you want to meet up and ride together on this toy run, you are better off meeting off the grounds and arriving together to get situated together.

A Brother Aiming Toward Education, or American Bikers Aimed Toward Education. Different chapters across the country have slight variations in the definition. The purpose of the organization is to promote motorcycle rider safety, education, and awareness, and also to protect biker rights when it comes to legislation and so on. ABATE works for ALL riders on two and three wheels, regardless of the kind of bike.

If you don't know what to purchase, get a gift card! Try to get one from a store that sells toys instead of a cash card from your bank tho. Gift cards can help ensure that an exact appropriate toy will be received, and the Marine Corps Reserves will gladly accept them instead of toys this year. We all know you will take the toy out and play with it first anyways, so save yourself the anguish of giving a fondled toy! ;-)

Not since the early 1980s has the plight of the less fortunate struggling to provide for their families been so dire. Children, young and old, don't need to doubt that Santa Claus really exists so, please do what you can for your local chairities during the upcoming Christmas Season and especially the U.S. Marine Corp. Reserves TOYS FOR TOTS...
and if you live or play in Tulsa, mark your calendars for the 30th annual ABATE Toy Run - December 13th
