Prayer Action 4 ABUSED/MURDERED/ CHILDREN

Our Heavenly Father- We come before Your throne of grace asking You to obliterate the emotional, physical and sexual child abuse which exists in our country and the world. We beseech You to stop this pattern of abuse and protect Your children, who have been entrusted to our care for proper nurturing and development. Please heal the scars and pain of those children who have been abused and refresh their souls, minds and spirits with a newness of life in which they can again be thankful for the gift of life you have so preciously given them. Be in the presence of these abused childrens' families and help their loved ones to release the pain and allow the healing nature of Your Fatherly Love to destroy the destructive powers of abuse. Give these families the wisdom to help their children heal and place within their hearts the desire and discernment to seek Your guidance in the reconstruction of their childrens' lives. We especially ask Your peace and comfort for all those families whose loved ones now rest in Your presence through the actions of their abuser. Through Your power and mercy create forgiveness and love within their hearts; restore their damaged souls and recreate their lives in peace. If the families do not know of Your Peace and Your Comfort, we petition that Your Holy Spirit reveal Himself to them in their time of need. Guide and direct the law enforcement community that must investigate these crimes, the court systems which dispense judgement, the biker community that offers protection and assistance and the penal system officials who incarcerate and guard the perpetrators of these crimes against our children. Provide these members of our community who we depend upon to protect our children with Your discernment in making the proper decisions when dealing with these abusers' past and future. Guide our law makers to create laws with substance that will protect our society from this scourge. We ask that in your Infinite Power and Wisdom that You would destroy the demons of abuse that haunt the minds of those driven to commit these crimes. Through Your Spirit's Power and urging, drive these individuals to seek the help that they need to control and destroy their sinful desires. Drive convicted abusers to a state of remorse and regret for the crimes they have committed so that the healing of their victims and themselves may take place. When apprehended we ask in You to unseal their mouths and unloose their tongues so that confessions take place, convictions are obtained and appropriate sentences will be imposed. Accomplish these things, Heavenly Father, with as little pain as possible for the victims and their families. Provide a peaceful closure for those whose lives have been permanently altered by the abuser. We ask You to enter every situation involving a helpless child, through Your Spirit, and prevent the planned abuse of those children that cannot protect themselves. Foil every attempt by the intended abuser to carry out their evil actions by changing their heart, mind or spirit and altering the combination of circumstances that could lead to abuse. Infuse the spirits of the intended victims with the power of Your Spirit to resist the ways and enticements of the abuser in the appropriate manner for their situation. In Jesus name and by Your Power and Mercy we ask these things, praying, believing and in the knowledge that all prayers are heard and answered in Your Love for You have told us it is so. Amen.
