Random acts of kindness come when you least expect them...So always be aware of your surroundings and help someone even if it is something small cause it just might be huge to someone else...:)

This Thanksgiving, rather than make a delicious dinner... my children and I will be attending the Mission on Skid Row to help feed the homeless and less fortunate. We will bring blankets, jackets, n shoes to homeless familes wi little children whom with the winter appoaching will be sleeping out in the cold. Thanksgiving is about being thankful and giving, rather than receiving. Happy Holidays to you ALL, my brothers n sisters... La La :)

Sunday on Numb and I were on our way back from Laughlin. All of a sudden the sky opened up. Then the hail started. We were going to keep going as others pulled over til we saw a biker hiding in his jacket to escape the hail. Numb pulled right over jumped out and told the biker to hop in the truck with us til the hail was over. He thanked us because out of the 10 cars that pulled over not one person offered him a place out of the storm. Numb offered to follow him back to Vegas but he said he would be ok.

last wednsday while riding home from work,I approached the intersection on Craig road, cars were backed up and parting like the red sea around a lone vehicle in the middle lane,as i got closer i could see a lady just standing there wringing her hands while car after car went around her, finally i got up to her and asked what the problem was,she looked at me skeptically at first and then said she was out of gas can u help me? I said sure and blocked traffic with my bike while i pushed her to the side of the road.I then went to a gas station and bought a thing of water and emptied it,took a drink first though,it was HOT outside.Put gas in went back to her and got her on her way,she cried and hugged me!ME a stranger! THAT FELT GREAT!

We often don't get a chance to thank the 911 emergency team that assists us when we need them..this past Sunday night,,my bf was stung by a wasp and went in to an apylatic coma..within seconds.. I was watching him die before my eyes...I seen our last ride to wasaga beach on Sat,,our ride in the SS..that we had just returned from...and I so wish I could remember there face to be able to track them down to thank them for stabilizing them and bringing him back to me...its hard to believe about 3 miles from our home less then a 1/2 hour before that.. ..we had stopped to help a couple with a nova..broken down on the side of the road where they had blown a belt..finding they both had harleys..among some small talk..anyways..pay it forward worked for us...and saved a life..and so very true

Saturday night when Chris, Skittles, Lisa, Todd, Kandi, Rich, Doug, Kat from California, John and a few others and I had just left Mountian Springs, we came across this Biker that had just went down and we stopped, the dust was still in the air. We stayed until help was on the way.
Chris, aka WARR110R just sent me this information:
The guy who went down Sat night.
8/17/2009 4:04:52 PM
I got a call this morning from the 911 operator who stated that the guys wife wanted to thank us for stopping to help. She connected me to Terri Lynn (wife of John Tapp) who was very nice and was looking for information about what happened. I told her that we did not actually see it happen but pulled up very soon afterward. She said that John is a new rider since June but had ridden when he was younger. He had ridden out to Pahrump and told her that he would be home after dark. She said that he is now at UMC ICU and has a punctured lung but more critical is the bleeding in his brain. She did say that he is responsive to the doctors and her so they expect him to recover without any major damage. She said they will know more later this week and I asked her to keep me updated. I told her that we will keep him in our prayers. I just wanted to let you guys know.

gypsy, i do every day....whether it's a small thing like getting something off a shelf for a senior in a chair at the store, or giving my change so a little kid can have enough for an ice cream....and i'm sure there are alot of people who do the same....my main thing is that sometimes people are so in a rush with their hectic lives that they forget the times they have been helped and to pay it forward...

I just want to add......Ladies if you ride solo invest in road side assistance. I have used it twice in my 20 years of riding. It's nice to have to make just one call and they handle the rest for you. For $29.95 I can register two bikes thru HOG. They don't forget about you, I recieved several calls from them while waiting. They just check to make sure you are ok while stuck on road until tow arrives.

July 4th traveling solo on the 99 in Calif. I developed a flat tire. Mind you I have road side assistance and quickily had a tow on it's way. But I sat there for about an hour while I waited and many bikes passed, NOT one stopped or even waved. But I have a cool brother in California, he drove up in his car and sat and waited with me for the tow.
