LOL~ I Was 9 Years Old & About The Only Thing That Stands Out Is That (My BFF At The Time) & I Wanted Ice Cream Anything Ice Cold, It Was Hot Out & We Had Already Searched Both Of Our Garage Freezers For Ice Cream Or Popsicles But Both Of Us Came Up Empty Handed. So We Decided We Were Going To Go To The Local Tastee Freeze, But It Was Tooo Hot To Walk And As We Turned Around There Sat Her Father Official Army Jeep & The Keys That Were Hanging From The Ignition That Day~& They Glistened Like The Star Of Bethlham...As I Looked At Those Keys That Were Shining So Bright(I Thought At The Time~I'm Going To Hell For This One~Hey But It Was Hot & WE NEEDED ICE CREAM~I Could Feel It In My Bones As The Surge Of Adventerous Energy Ran Thru Out My Body~At That Point There Was No Stopping Me, So I Told My BFF To Jump In Cause We Were Cruising....Next Thing Ya Know We Were Sitting In Her Fathers Official Army Jeep In The Garage~Wink. We Got Out & Both Of Us Lifted The Door(No Automatic Garage Doors Back Then, At Least Not For Us & The Freaking Doors Were Solid Wood & Heavy As Hell! Then We Jumped Back In The Jeep.
Her Father Was A Tall Guy & The Seat Was Pushed Back As Far As Possible...I Couldn't Reach The Petals. So I Told Tammy(BFF AT THE TIME) To Push The Petal In With Her Hands When I Turn The Key...Tammy Obeyed Me (I Was Always The Instagaiter(MSP)...Imagine That)~LOL. Of Corse It Was A Stick But I Had Only Watched My Dad Worked The Clutch & The Stick...Never Tried It B4 On My Own...So I Told Tammie To Let Off The Clutch & Press Down On The Gas As Far As It Would Go...Next Thing I I Knew Is That We Were Sitting In Her 4 Foot Swimming Pool(Of Course Empty Now) In The Back Yard...We Ran The Jeep Right Thru The Back Wall Of Her Fathers Garage~...I Of Course Acted Like I Had Brain Damage For Three Weeks After The Incident..Didn't Help Tho I Got Grounded For Life~...Oh My I'm The Only On That Told A Long Story~Oh Well I'm Posting It Now That I Wrote It~LOL

I was about nine years old ... living in Great Falls, MT on an AF base. Heard all about it on the radio, and from my friend's older brothers who were fortunate enough to take off to Woodstock with a vanload of other guys and gals. All I remember is that they had a blast, and that I wanted to go but for some reason mom wouldn't let me. Ha ha.
