Local and state vendors to help generate state revenue through sales of food, beverages and apparel. DRAW OF THE PUBLIC EXPECTED: 5000 - 8000 SPECTATORS.
Looking to invite a National BBQ cooking contest.
Hoping to begin a tradition that will bring family and friends together to enjoy the festivities of the 4th of July week. DRAW OF THE PUBLIC EXPECTED: 20,000 TO 30,000 SPECTATORS.
The effects of a seven day event while working with the other festivals events will be:
1) Increased tourism.
? Area restaurants will enjoy an increase in customer attendance.
? Local area hotels and campgrounds will enjoy an increase in extended stays.
? Local merchants will increase their sales, as cycle enthusiasts are known to spend money recreationally.
? Local entertainment establishments will have increased profits for 7 days of this event.
2) Due to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bike Fest and National Fishing Tournament in Biloxi and possibly starting a National BBQ Contest with Kansas City BBQ for the 2010 venue. We will bring in national named entertainment for this annual event and bring back the great Gulf Coast Cities back on the map for the rest of the nation to see us grow.
Once the Bike Fest participants, fishing rodeo spectators have experienced a taste of the Southern hospitality here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, they will spread the word to other friends and families. This will have an overall effect on tourism throughout the year.

Celebrate our great traditional Independence Week in remembrance of our fellow men and women that severed and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. This is a time to have friends and family join together, enjoy music, food, fellowship with our veterans, families and friends.
Purpose of the weeklong event is to help restore & improve the beauty and the life of the Mississippi Gulf Coast following the destruction suffered from Hurricane Katrina. There will be other events during this week such as: The National Fishing Rodeo in Biloxi and The Mississippi Gulf Coast Bike Fest along Hwy 90 and surrounding cities.
This will be accomplished by inviting a multitude of visitors, fishing tournament participants, spectators, local family and friends to enjoy the 4th of July week and what it stands for: honor, pride in the United States of America and our veterans who served and is serving honorably for this great nation to be free.
The company is constructed of medically retired, retired and families members that have served in the Armed Forces honorably. Members of the company are very active in the District #1 for the Tri-counties (Jackson- Harrison and Hancock) Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Patriot Guard Riders of Mississippi. We will be donating portions of the proceeds to both non-profit organizations to help support our Veterans in need.
There will be live entertainment throughout the week as well as open markets for shopping. Major entertainment personalities will be enlisted in this endeavor as well as local and state entertainment personalities. Corporate and Local sponsors for this event will be enlisted to expand the broadcasting of the event.
Our intent:
The first year was over 4800 bike riders with over a draw of 2500 spectator to open up the Biloxi bridge in 2007.
The second year a draw of bike riders was over 10,000 with no big venue and the only events were the fishing rodeo and riding to casino's and local bars.
Our intent is that this event grew over double just by e-mailing and very small amount of advertizing.
Purchased a large venue of radio on kicker 108 and Z95.3, Cable One TV on 5 networks, State tourism website, VFW's of Mississippi chain of command channels, Patriot Guard Riders web site of Mississippi, Biker.com, motocyclemonster.com, bikeevent.com.
