I talked with Dave again today and he is once again having to go back to the hospital for another surgery. Please pray for him..he is so bummed out..he was hoping to be goin home by the end of this month but it doesnt look like that is gonna happen now. To all my friends: Please send Dave a lil message..I know that is what is keeping his spirits up knowing that we r all thinking about him. I love u Dave!!

Dave has a blood infection they had to open him up again...hang in there sweetie

I talked with Dave this morning...seems if he has a Staph infection they will have to take all of the hardware they put in his back from this last surgery out. And then put it all back in again...poor Dave.. He will know more when the cultures come back with their findings

Yes Dave is back in the hospital having more surgery..hopefully all goes well and he will be back into the Rehab/Therapy facility on Friday

I went and seen Dave today and he seems to be in good spirits. He will most likely be staying at the Rehabilitation facility for a few months now :( He isnt happy about that but hopefully when he is done there he can go right home and be able to function on his own

I talked to Dave today he is still in pain but still giving everyone hell he blames it on the fellas lol...yeah right Dave...love ya babe

Dave was discharged from the hospital today and is headed into a Rehabilitation facility for 2 weeks. After that he is headed north to recover with his family.I will be visiting with him on Friday :)

Talked to Dave today..he is sosunding alot better..ill be heading north to see him this week..he has pictures posted of his spine during surgery...doesnt look good but take a look at his page and check them out

D is in his own room...and back to bitchin...pissed of the ICU nurses "so they kicked him out". Already not followin the rules...what else is new!!!!!

I talked with Dave this morning...he is still in ICU and hopefully movin into his own room today. They have him up and walkin and he isnt very happy...he is in alot of pain

And another thing we didnt have the first benefit for Dave becuz H2H started shit about that...so we decided to wait til he had this last surgery...so as of now its scheduled for February

OMFG I cant believe that someone is trashing this man. They dont know what the hell he is going through at the moment or what his expenses are! To trash him like this is un called for! Amen to that!!!! D's not gonna be a happy camper for quite some time. Im just so relieved and glad and grateful that he made it thru!!!!!! And hopefully he wont need anymore surgery.The rest is up to him...and I have no doubts that before too long he will be bitchin about everything...and I soooo look forward to that!!! :)

The hard work for Dave will be when he gets out of the hospital..he will be in alot of pain and will not be able to take care of himself...I thank God his family and friends are there for him

Dave is out of surgery. He is doing awesome. Dr. said he is doing great and if all goes well he is leaving the hospital on Monday and going into a rehab center for a couple of weeks. He is in alot of pain but doing great!!! Thank God!!!!!

Dave is in surgery now...I was there this morning with him at the hospital before surgery..he was very nervous. Docs say surgery will be 8-10 hrs so im sure he will be out of it for a few days.Please wait to hear from him and let him rest..Im sure he will start makin phone calls as soon as he is able..he will be in intensive care for a few days :(

Talked with Dave for a while this morning and he is sounding a little depressed . He was told from his doctor he will not be able to ride ever again. So the plan now is to get him a trike for next years riding season..Maybe I will throw a benefit to help with the costs for trike...

I talked with Dave a few minutes ago and he is doin better, he is s till in ICU and heavily medicated so it was hard to understand him at times, but he is laughing and joking so he is doin better. He will most likely be moved out of ICU either tonite or tomorrow

As of this morning Dave is still in ICU and will stay there so they can watch him until he is stable enough to go to his own room..they were trying to get the breathing tube out..and he was givin them a hard time...I should have been there :(
