[ HAD TO COME BACK TO FIX THE TYPOSSS HA HA HA]
I have been needing to up-date this for a while. I had been holding my breath until I was sure the story had a happy ending;
Believe it or not, The first day of Leesburg Bike fest I took my state boards. I was confident that I would have no trouble with the written portion. I had been warned however, that the Nurse Nazi’s with the clip=boards had NO MERCY for nursing candidates performing their skills. All I had to do was concentrate and focus….Did I mention that I was taking the exam at LSCC on US441 in Leesburg?...Okay let me put this another way, ALL I HAD TO DO WAS CONSENTRATE WITH THE CONSTANT SOUND OF HUNDREDS OF BIKES ON THER WAY TO DWN-TWN LEESBURG…..Ha ha …It was alittle surreal!!! There was a constant ROAR…we all had to raise our voices alittle, and my head is thinking; can you hear that?....
I NEED TO BE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
Got it done, and had a great week-end!!! So the big up-date is; got my license!
AND GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!
@a nursing home close by…it is part time, but both feet are in the door. What I really wanted to say is. Once again, make no mistake; I could not have done it without Vambo. I am not supposed to tell but, He has experienced great personal sacrifice for the cause of his families’ (mine and his son’s ) well being and success. So I am taking a break from school and going to work as much as possible for a while.
Heaven knows these are very hard times. Many of us have had life changing events recently. I have taken the time to up-date this now, because I recognize and cherish my on-line friends affection and support. Here we find ourselves once again mourning the loss of a good friend. As we rally together allowing each other to deal and heal in our own way. Venting, ranting crying together. I want you all to know how much I value the time and energy you share of yourselves on- line. We struggle to carry on and face lifes challenges, God knows we all have our own demons to battle.
So I share with you the good news that I have…Hope you all can face your battles with grace and dignity. Knowing that many of your good friends are right here cheering you on!!!and always in YOUR corner! XO
Sincerity and affection,
Lori

First of all, did you know? Apparently those of us on BON here in Florida enjoy an unique phenomenon. We actually ride and know the folks that we chat with regularly! We are so lucky! We know each other in real life. I tell you this, for those that may not know. That is unusual. Other states may chat with their locals but they seldom meet. We know our friends. We share their joys and sorrows in real life not just cyber-space. I would not have it any other way. I swear one of my joys, is knowing so many unique individuals! I am a voyeur of humanity. I adore diverse personalities. I do believe that we are all blessed to be here in cyber space at the same time. I truly hope that our legacy and example continues for new members. That is my round about way of saying that I appreciate, respect and treasure each of your acquaintances and communication. People can only get as close to our lives as we allow them. Look at all the trust and faith we have among us!
So I found myself in my mid forties divorced, with a son in kindergarten…..OH SHIT!!!! I need a college education and I need it fast !!!! HA ha ha! So I pursued that route. To tell the truth some of it was easy and some of it was like banging my head against a brick wall. All the while I really wanted to be a Registered Nurse. I swear eleven hours or labor with the little weasel was easier then some of the pre-requests!
The short story of this is; if this is news to some, oh well. Vambo and I are divorced. Our marriage was pretty ugly most of the ten years. Our marriage sucked , but our parenthood ROCKS!. We both agree with out hesitation that, the past is past.Our young son’s child hood is the only childhood he will have. Vambo has impressed me as a co-parent in dimensions that I had not seen before. We are focused; he has stepped to the plate and has given his all .Truth be told I would not have made it this far with out him. No question. All I need now is a damn job!
As for you’alls’ ailments, with a combination of family wisdom and my extensive
( ahem) medical education, I would advise a 12 oz jar of moon shine and a vigorous good lay. If reliable moonshine is not available I would recommend 151 proof rum, but the good lay IS required for good over –all health!....What?....it’s a fact!
Genuine affection to all Lori
