Description:	Tink's in pretty bad shape. He was admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The Doctors there have discovered 2 blood clots. One in his lung and one in his leg. They have him on the usual blood thinners but his prognosis is still shaky. Prayers are NEEDED and appreciated. A phone call or visit would LIFT his spirits tremendously!! You may or may not know that he has been through a LOT already due to a bite from a Brown Reclose Spider. It has taken almost 2 years from the time he was bitten until he had the skin graft to close the hole left from the Spiders poisonous bite. (that operation was just last Month) Pray for him, pay him a visit or at the very least give him a hollar! 941-917-9000 x 637 (updated 4.8.09) Thanks! P

Thank you for all the prayers, thoughts and phone calls, you helped me keep my spirits up during this crisis. I still have a blood clot in my lungs the size of my fist and need to continue the blood thinner pill, but the shots are over for now. I was getting two shots a day in my stomach and a few of those nurses need to go back to school to learn how to give a painless shot. Yes it hurt.

I try to keep in mind the FL/WI time difference! I told him I tried calling him Tuesday night but the phone just rang and rang and I wasn't able to call him last night because I worked both of my jobs and then found out about the new room number Wednesday night when I got home from work. I told him it sounded so good to hear his voice and that he's doing well and the pictures look great! I think it's wonderful that you guys went to see him! I mentioned about Starfest and he would really love to make it but it is quite a jaunt and we'll have to see how he's doing. If he can't make it to Starfest, I may just have to get his address and mail him some WI cheese curds! ;) We weren't able to talk too long cuz one of the head nurses came into his room so I told him I'd call him again later.
