Hey guys a great job site to go to, Indeed.com. It pulls from all the job sites like Careerbuilder, Monster & Yahoo hot jobs to name a few. Also employers, staffing agencies and head hunters. You can set up miltiple searches by title of the job you are looking for and City, state of zip code and set it up to email you those jobs daily or weekly. I also offer resume writing and revisions and have a back ground in Healthcare and Human resources. I have done sever resumes for my friends on BON and can provide you with references, at times it is about the resume. Good luck everyone with your searches & God Bless.

If your not afraid of climbing on a roof (men or women) there's a ton of money to be made as an account mgr. in roofing in the Houston area. You average 10 to 20% of the job as commission. It's slow to get started but once you do, watch out. No special skill needed just have to knock on doors, it's not for everyone but if you likee talking to people the money is unbelieveable.

Anyone in the trades that has electrical exp and welders ther is a site called Rat Pack international . They cover all different job postings for here and overseas . They charge a fee but they have solid leads and you can talk to people through email that are on the ground . Most of the jobs overseas you have to have legal and tax issues taken care of. Those are definite stoppers but you can make some good coin .

Once you have done that, you can elect to have them send jobs that match your search criteria directly to your email. Also for those looking in the medical/clerical field, check out perotsystems.com. They are out of Plano, TX. I just submitted a resume last night for a Traveling Insurance Collections Specialist in the Charlotte, NC area. I know there are BON members that are teachers or work for school districts...or at the very least have children in schools within a 50 mile radius of Tiki Island, Tx....Clear Lake,Kemah,Pasadena,Baytown etc. etc. Perhaps some of you might hear of an opening for an experienced Art Teacher and can post it here. I have a Bachelors Degree in Art with a near perfect GPR, and 18 hours towards a Masters Degree in Art...again, with a near perfect GPR - both at Winthrop University in S.C. Focus was in Sculpture... clay, wood and assemblage..., mixed media drawing, canvas painting, printmaking and Art History...could have majored in Art History actually...I have taken almost every Ah class offered... but I majored in painting and sculpture. I am a life-long artist and have worked in art-related fields all my adult life...advertising art, graphic design, package design, art instruction, school art director, working artist and owning an art-related store/gallery for 10 years. I have 3.5 years experience in the classroom at a college-prep K-12 school. While there, I taught 200 kids each week and hung two major school-wide art shows each semester...highlighting a total of 600 matted pieces of the best student work for the semesters. All students were represented at least once. My upper school art students all entered a juried county-wide museum art competion each year... and although we were the smallest school represented, we took home more than our share of awards for excellence....with nearly everyone of my upper school students winning a 1st, 2nd or 3rd or honorable mention in at least one category entered. I have great references. Thanks!!

WE NEED TO GET THE WORD OUT TO MORE PEOPLE AND IT'S IMPORTANT THAT EACH OF YOU SEND AND "INVITE" TO EACH OF THE PEOPLE OR FRIENDS ON YOUR LIST. THE MORE POPLE WE CAN REACH, THE BETTER THE ODDS OF SOMEONE POSTING A JOB OR SOMEONE FINDING A JOB. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PUT DOWN YOUR QUALIFICATIONS WHEN POSTING EITHER JOB OPENINGS OR YOUR OWN PERSONAL WORK EXPERIENCE. IT IS GREAT TO SEE THAT EVERYONE HAS TAKEN THIS SERIOUS BECAUSE PEOPLE NEED HELP. WE DON'T NEED ANYONE USING THIS TO HIT ON WOMEN OR MEN AND SENDING E-MAILS THAT ARE OBNOXIOUS OR RUDE. IMAGINE IF YOU WERE THE ONE THAT NEEDED WORK AND COULD NOT FEED YOUR FAMILY OR PAY YOUR BILLS....THE LAST THING ANY OF THESE PEOPLE NEED IS A "SMART-ASS" OR SOMEONE USING THIS AS A WAY TO HIT ON ONE OF THESE PEOPLE..."GO FIND A DATING SITE"....WHAT THEY NEED IS YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP...BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION AND NOT ANOTHER SOURCE OF PROBLEMS FOR OUR BROTHERS & SISTERS. THANK YOU!

This is a fabulous idea! For those needing jobs, you might consider going onto your local, state or federal government websites for their job postings. With the Stimulus Bill getting allocated, there's going to be a need for help--even if temporarily--something is much better than nothing. The Census Bureau I'm sure is also needing help for census takers and data entry folks, and those jobs typically last a bit over a year. Decent wages, good benefits and if you get a permanent postion, GREAT retirement benefits compared to the vast majority of private companies out there today. And for you Texans or those wanting to move to the Lone Star State, Here's the TWC URL: http://www.twc.state.tx.us/customers/jsemp/jsempsub1.html Check out! Lots of info on that site, if you are willing to invest the time and use it.
