It may be flat and long but a ride to the Lowcountry would be sweet!!! We could camp on Hunting Island in SC and catch a Parris Island Graduation while there.

In my humble opinion, The Best Ride in AZ is from Clifton to Springerville on "The Coronado Trail". 120 Miles of Awesome twisties, Great Scenery and very little traffic. Elevation change of about 5,000 ft.

My favorite is Hwy 421 from boone to Mountain City, TN. 481 curves in 12 miles! Mountain City is very biker friendly... there isn't much else going on there. Oops ... just noticed I'm not the first to recommend the Snake!

If your looking for a place to go, meet, or just get away for the weekend. Check out Ridersroost.com I've been there twice and I'd love to go back. It's a place for bikers built for bikers, by bikers. It's not Hilton, nor Top of the line. But it's a nice place. They have cabins, bath houses, running water power etc. or you may sleep in a tent, prices are very cheap for the night or weekend. They want let you drive your cage in the camp ground but make you park it up top. Like I said: it's for bikes and bikers! Yes it is back in time somewhat, but a great place near the mountains to enjoy a weekend or day get away. If you go Ask about Crazy, LMAO. Roy had a experince with me 4 real, all i'm saying is I rode or tried to ride my bike in the rain, The jack daniels, beer etc. And harleys don't mix too well. And Tell Roy I said Hiya! Lmao

I agree with Super D. Hwy 97 we take this ride alot, and spend the weekend at Lake Wateree Campground. Its a nice ride and its only $35.00 or $40.00 a night to camp and within walking distance to the Flamingo. They have added another bar right across the bridge. If your coming from up 200 The Kickstand has a bar there also.

ok everybody has heard of the dragoon tail's at deals gap,but i like the cherohala skyway.you want to stay at iron horse motorcycle resort they will feed you breakfast and super, plan on 2 nights, the dragon doesn't take long to ride so if you get there before 3 ride the dragon, when you get done you will return to your prime rib dinner, socialize then bed.wake up take off to the cherohala skyway for a ride that the parkway can't hold a candle to,a smooth twisting road that rides along the tops of the mountains all the into tenn. take a side trip for beatiful waterfall and river senery. stop for lunch in tellico plains and back to iron horse.awsome let me know when i'll be there! Try this one. Take Old Liberty road out east of Asheboro, NC Once there go right at the light in Liberty and get a drink at the Liberty Tavern before making your way back.

This is a great route that takes about 4 to 5 hours round trip...it is really good for those who are new at riding and those who are just out for an afternoon cruise...not a lot of twists or turns and some roads are 2 lane and some 4 lane... lot of wide open country and great scenery... start out from Greer SC on Hwy 101 South and go toward Woodruff....take 221 South all the way into Greenwood...once in Greenwood take 25 North and go as far north as you want to go or turn off on 418 and go all the way to the end and it comes back into Hwy 101 and you can take Hwy 101 North and go back to Greer...it's a great ride....and in Greenwood they have an awesome Ruby Tuesdays to eat at....let me know if you'd like to ride it sometime and we'll ride it together....

The most awesome ride I know is go down 77 south to exit 77. Turn left on Anderson Road/Hwy 21. Go all the way down and turn left on 200 and then an immediate right on 97. If you like the mountains/curves this is a great road to go on. There are two biker bars down 97 which are Kickstand 97 and Flamingo. If you go down to the Flamingo, there is not past that. You would be heading into Camden, SC. If you ride this ride, Have a great ride and be safe!!
P.S. If you get a chance you can stop by Legends Leathers on your way. We are right on Hwy 21 in Catawba, SC. -Alan

I enjoy riding Hwy 64 from Hendersonville, NC to 276...But first, take a brief left onto 64 toward Brevard and enjoy a meal at the Twin Dragons Grand Buffet...after a great meal go back and take a left onto 276...This is a great curvey road with beautiful scenery. You pass by several falls 'Looking Glass Falls ' is one of the main stops; pass through Cruso, where you will find a MC only campground beside the river; and on to Waynesville. The main street of Waynesville has a lot of cool places to visit....continue the ride or spend the night and then venture off to another great destination...

If you are looking for a challenging road I would have to suggest Highway 80 from Marion, NC to Burnsville, NC Bypass the Blue Ridge Parkway and head toward Hemlock State Park. The road twists and turns through the mountains and over Mitchell Mountain. Add this to your route to experience great riding on paved mountain roads.
